Comments on: ‘Wanted’ billboards in Maplewood show only black faces

As every solid citizen of the twin Cities knows, Maplewood has been, and continues to be, a hotbed for Radical Islamo-fascists, Mexican Drug Lords, Irish drunks, Italian mafioso, Haitian ganja dealers, French bread re-sellers, Germanic beer smugglers, Dutch dyke-pluggers, Russian vodka distillers, Swedish illegals baking inferior lefse, substandard Norwegian pickled herring and a host of other foreign intruders. The officialdom in Maplewood are wise and they listen daily to Joe Soucheray for guidance. If I were the mayor of Maplewood, I'd put up many more of those electronic billboard do-hickies so as to stop the myriad criminal element before it is too late. Those who claim racism are likely part of the criminal conspiracy fueled by Hispanic coke smugglers and Argentinian Nazi-hiders. You go, Maplewood!

I can't decide if I'm more offended at the obvious racism or potential for this to become more widespread. I picture 'Minority Report' in my head, with OLED walls and transparent screens on glass on the sides of buildings and everywhere in shopping malls instantly changing at the will of some government agency to get out an urgent bulletin. Okay, a bit far fetched. But with these billboards which just claim that someone is wanted but doesn't actually say what they did… this is getting to be a bit much.

I see your point.

This is very odd since the majority of the people wanted by the FBI for murder are Mexican nationals who came here, no doubt, through perfectly legal means.

I guess Obama is going to have to change his name to Barak Hernandez if he wants to hit the big time.
