Right on Jack. You are correct. Congressman Paul is more concerned about opportunities to communicate and educate than partisan rancor and personal grudges and insults. If anything, I am impressed that Michelle Bachman has been attending some of RP’s “lunch and learn” sessions and is not afraid of the party establishment who continues to shun Congressman Paul.

Guys – Ron Paul isn’t the average politician – he doesn’t choose who he associates with based on polling or based on their public persona or how popular that person is.

Basically, after decades in Washington getting shunned by the establishment, he’ll associate with anybody who wants to associate with him.

His main goal is to get out to campuses and talk to younger people, and if Bachmann can get him an appearance at a Minnesota university, so be it.

So forgive him if he’s not caught up in the partisan games, he’s more concerned about finding truth and spreading the message.

Bachmann’s association with Ron Paul is nothing new. He’s long been one of her heroes and BFF. You Ron Paul supporters just haven’t been paying attention.

I think Ron-Paul’s association with Bachmann is a good thing. He might persuade her towards more sensible policies and mould her outlook.

I’m sure Paul is happy that Bachmann is listening to his ideas, but I am very unhappy that Paul is willing to associate with Bachmann. Doesn’t do much to further his message, and I’m sure the more reasonable folks among Paul’s base will not look to kindly upon this either. I assume Paul hasn’t witnessed the baseless party politics Bachmann subscribes to, something Paul himself frequently speaks against.
