Million-dollar stash for Minneapolis council member?

Updated No wonder her challenger implies she’s posh. According to the Hennepin County campaign finance website, Minneapolis City Council Member Elizabeth Glidden’s campaign has $1,671,059 on hand.
With that sum, Glidden would outstrip by more than 10 times the council’s perennial leader in amassing cash, Lisa Goodman, whose own pre-primary report says she has socked away a mere $116,325 and change. (Never mind Mayor R.T. Rybak’s paltry $67,000 in cash-on-hand.)
But it turns out to be a case of a misplaced decimal point: Glidden’s report to the county (pdf) actually shows she has $16,710.59 in the bank, as of the first of the month.
Update: The county’s website has since been corrected.
Thanks to instant-runoff voting, there is no actual primary election in Minneapolis this year to spur city council candidates to file pre-primary financial reports. But Glidden herself made sure such filings happened anyway by pushing through a requirement for campaigns to reveal their financials “as if a primary were being held” on Sept. 15.
