		<description>I, unfortunately, have logically deduced that oil companies will do everything in their power (which I think we can agree is substantial) to squeeze every last drop of oil and every other non-renewable resources from the earth. That doesn&#039;t mean I agree with it. I believe we need to move onto renewable resources as fast as possible, restrictions on new drilling would help speed that process up. Energy independence is not going to come from oil reserves we find in the US and anything that exploits one of the largest fresh water reserves, I am firmly against; because before we know it, we will be trying to squeeze every last drop of fresh water from the earth as well. 

Those of us that reside in the Great Lakes region need to be pushing to preserve every aspect of our greatest resources...</description>

		<description>The folks in Duluth would welcome this plan.  The amount of oil likely under lake Superior waters is equivalent to the amount of discarded lutefisk thrown away by disgruntled eaters of the foul fish.</description>
