Short-film troupe Synthetic Human Pictures are the folks behind a video called "I’m Voting Republican" that’s making the interwebs round this week. The group has won awards for short films like "Tip Jar," a flick about trying to make a living as a server. "I’m Voting Republican" provides a tongue-planted-firmly-in-cheek look at what what the filmmakers believe will happen if McCain and Co. won the election. It’s just one of many ways citizens are using the web and new technology to create a neo-movement of community action not seen since the 1960s. Check the video for yourself and let us know what you think: It’s a bit more ominous and foreboding than McCain’s super-expensive, wannabe-hep-cat "Dr. No" ad, no?
