Stodgy? The McCain campaign? You must be jazzin’ me, Jack. Just watch their latest web-only production, Dr. No, which riffs on the James Bond movies that all the young people love–or did, when John McCain was a young person.
Nice production values, but one question: Does it actually make Obama look bad, especially in the eyes of the independent voters he and McCain will be tussling over?

That is the strangest political ad I think I’ve ever seen. Seriously — the only iffy thing is nuclear power. The gas tax holiday and extra drilling are known to be stupid ideas. I hope McCain’s campaign keeps screwing up like this.
