Ellison confronted Obama over treatment of Muslim women at campaign stop

Fox News reports this morning that Minnesota Rep. Keith Ellison scolded Barack Obama at a recent Congressional Black Caucus meeting after Obama workers moved two women in traditional Muslim garb from the stage before a recent Obama appearance. Ellison, an avid Obama supporter, then gave Obama the women’s phone numbers; they subsequently received apologies by phone from the candidate himself.
Sounds like it was a heated exchange: "One key lawmaker who was present described the exchange between Obama and Ellison as ‘cordial’ but ‘direct.’… However, congressional sources indicated that Ellison’s exchange with Obama was so intense that CBC Chairwoman Carolyn Cheeks Kilpatrick, D-Mich., had to intervene and attempted to gavel down Ellison."
