VP or not VP: Andrew Sullivan claims Pawlenty pick is “already made”

Appearing on the Chris Matthews Show on Sunday, Atlantic senior editor Andrew Sullivan speculated that John McCain has already decided to choose Tim Pawlenty as his running mate:

"I think the vice-presidential picks are both going to be boring and underwhelming… Neither candidate wants to mix their brand up with another strong brand. I think that Pawlenty will probably be McCain’s number two. I think he’s already made that decision, actually."
