As a result of the Star  Tribune article about Republican Congressional Candidate Alan Fine’s expunged police record, conservatives have began questioning where the Strib obtained the record.

more insidePowerline throws out a Hail Mary and tries to pin the incident on DFL Senate Amy Klobuchar.

One possible source, of course, is Amy Klobuchar, the Hennepin County Attorney who is running for the U.S. Senate. Did Klobuchar or one of her aides leak the expunged record to the newspaper to help her fellow Democrat? If so, was a crime committed? We know that the Klobuchar campaign has already been involved in one dirty trick, which resulted in her communications director being referred to the FBI for possible criminal prosecution. Is this another instance where the Klobuchar campaign may be involved in criminal activity? This whole episode cries out for an investigation.

Bluestem Praire continues eating up yardage and pushing downfield.  The latest play?  A full look at House Majority Leader John Boehner, who will be campaigning for Rep. Gil Gutknect (R) this Thursday.

While Boehner may not be a hammer, he has been a highflyer.

Federal Election Commission records and House travel disclosure forms reviewed by the Center indicate that Boehner used his leadership PAC “Freedom Project” to build a network of political and business relationships not unlike DeLay’s own.

And is the 6th game already over? CNN seems to think so, as they ran this graphic during DFL candidate Patty Wetterling’s address to the nation.
