Utne spoofed by Jon Stewart… again

On The Daily Show last night, Jon Stewart lamented the closing of Conde Nast magazines Modern Bride, Elegant Bride and Gourmet, then produced a joke edition of his own fusion publication: Jon Stewart’s Pregnant Bride Gourmet Magazine. He says it’s a trend. Soon we’ll see such hybrids as Utne Reader’s Digest, a nod to the hometown progressive magazine, and the magazine for kiddie tokers, Highlights Times. The last time Stewart tweaked Utne, the publication turned it into a video promotion produced by videographer Chuck Olsen.
