For more interesting reading on this subject, look up Hustler Magazine v. Jerry Falwell, Supreme Court of the US (I forget the date). This pretty much outlines why the site is safe from Beck’s bullshiattery.

I’m glad that everyone is arguing the finer points of law and language, but I just can’t get past the possible rape and murder of a young girl being the real issue here, and why do some people think Glenn Beck could be a suspect? And why doesn’t Glenn deny this, turn over his calendar for 1990, and put this issue to rest? Or at least Glenn could offer a huge reward for the conviction of the real killer if Glenn didn’t do it, which he probably didn’t do it but then why is he hiding behind lawyers? Some people say that not denying is admitting, I don’t know if that is true or is not not true or is not not not true. But do we just walk away when a young girl may have been raped and murdered?

dude you don’t get it and it’s kind of hilarious. the guy merged two meme’s that are already known. if you read the site you would know he doesn’t think that beck is a rapist, but i think based on how this tactic has worked, it’s quite obvious why people believe things they hear when it isn’t backed with facts. people are quick to believe anything and stand behind anything like many people who watch one of the proponents of this same type of method, except that when beck does it, he goes unchallenged. i’m glad this guy did this because as a general tv watcher i have come over his show on fox and noticed that he throughs out these baseless statements and likes to use the double negative or the double double negative. i don’t know where he was educated where he learned this was okay but i can’t use this in an english paper whereas i can definately argue for the sake of arguing in a philosophy paper. glen beck is in a respected/used to be respected position and he has a lot of power because people look to him to get information and when someone does what he does which is hint at, imply something, say something and then leave it in the ether but then come back and say that’s not what i meant, i wasn’t saying that, i don’t feel that way, are you disagreeing with my statement, etc…he is just playing a smart game and lots of people who don’t use their brains are falling for it and being fooled. i’m not talking about this current american president and his term at all. glenn beck has been doing this before fox. it’s something he must notice he does because it is a style.method. if you say something and you mean it then just state it instead of posing it in a question format because you want to come out the winner and slip the rug from underneath someone. i mean it’s not a good interview style unless you are a gotcha type of person and it’s not good for debates. he’s done a lot of disservice to his profession. it’s kinda sad to observe.

This is a declaritive statement without an indication of uncertainty. You suggest it was a “vicious rumour”.

Tell us all – where exactly did you hear this rumour originally and what evidence did you find warranting your perpetuating the claim?

I think Glenn Beck and his legal council understand the WIPO does not settle libel claims.

If a newspaper made a reckless claim about ME – I would 1) contact the newspaper to address the issue, 2) contact my attorney for council, and 3) likely file a libel suit.

The WIPO is simply one avenue Glenn Beck can pursue in the big picture of addressing his greivences.

Soon, under oath, you will have to disclose where exactly you gathered this unfounded “rumour”. I suspect you simply made up the heinous rumor to “make a point”.

So – was it a “rumour” or “humor”. Either way I suspect it won’t be a good outcome for you.

Actually – I hope bloggers like you continue posting such remarks. Every post, every comment is another nail in the coffin of Mr Eiland-hall’s claim of innocuous satire.

More and more people repeating the false allegation against Glenn Beck only strengthens his claim of defamation.
