Do you realize what a tremendous station the Current is, there is nothing like it anywhere in the nation. The WCAL people need to get over it. While I don't always like the Goliath that is MPR, I don't miss WCAL, a station that was not on my radar screen. But then I'm not really a classical music (or classic rock) fan.

Power to the people! As longtime member of WCAL and MPR, I would like to see justice in this matter. Having a classical music “monopoly” is not a good thing. Having MPR use more member dollars to acquire radio “real estate” than develop programming is disheartening and misleading to members.
