1. There is nothing “punk rock” about the music his band plays or “evangelical christian” bands in general. Nothing at all. Not aesthetically, culturally, artistically. Nothing. The headline could have called him her “Opera Tenor” benefactor and it would have been just as accurate, which is to say, totally inaccurate. Punk rock has a strong liberal, anti-authority, and anti-religious tradition. To even remotely suggest that this right-wing bigot can somehow be described as “punk rock” is ridiculous.

2. Am I reading this right? Why are public schools allowing an “evangelical christian” group to play for their students? How is that not about 10 times worse than school prayer? Can I form a Muslim band with songs that preach about Muhammed and Allah to public school students? I bet you I wouldn’t get those gigs.

I found this guy’s radio show by chance one day, and try to listen to it often. I agree with nothing, but find him and his ilk very, very funny. The show on 980 am right before is just as funny. Just know this, him and his ilk are the other side of the Taliban coin. The want a theocracy, based solely on the bible nothing else. The constitution was designed in this country for them, as well as, “unbelievers,” which is what makes this country so wonderful. Realize that when you hear people like bradlee, he’s right, and you’re wrong, why, because, “you are a whack job” for not believing like him.

I worked with this guy, this group, and went to an assembly. During the time i was with them, i was told horrible theories about our govt and our nation. I was told to not see my family, as they were poisening me with their sin (they also used the biblical scripture of leaving family to follow Christ) and pretty soon it wasnt about CHrist at all. Bradlee Dean is unpatriotic and i wont even go into the rest of it. Michelle Bachman is walking down a bad path by supporting this, in the end it will biter her int the @ss

How is it “patriotic” to accuse the President of being un-American and, indeed, NOT American? I would have thought that to be the opposite of patriotism. Guess the definitions have changed since I was a kid.

Jesus ran a Ponzi scheme, apparently. And because Jesus had a big house and wine collection, the Pharisees were jealous because Jesus was so successful so they turn Jesus over to the authorities. Just like Tom Petters. But I bet Jesus moved a bunch of HIS money to offshore accounts just like Tom Petters.
