Valid medicinal value, it’s a victimless crime, the War on Drugs WAY too costly, too many arrests for simple possession, tax it and use the money to pay for health insurance and to reduce the deficit. Need I say more?

Woodstock Universe supports legalization of Marijuana for a number of reasons. Check them out and vote in our poll "Should marijuana be legalized?" at http://woodstockuniverse.com

Current poll results: 96% for legalization and 4% opposed. Add your vote. Poll runs through October.

Drugfreeworld.com advocates that Drugs (including marijuana) are bad when abused, however, it does not explain the facts of marijuana prohibition, nor the countless benefits that can be gained from its use. Marijuana legalization is gaining strength, and wether you believe that weed good or bad, there is no reasonable, logical argument for its prohibition. Legalizing it will yield so many benefits to society and will eliminate many issues. People already smoke pot, so why not make it a controlled commodity?

Hilarious that a "drugfreeworld.org" ad is above the comments section here. "Say no to drugs and yes to life."
Sorry, but I am saying YES to life by choosing cannabis, for I derive medical benefit from it!

It's pretty impressive that peoples' minds have changed so much, considering not many people have truly researched the issue for themselves. Most of their knowledge of the topic is from government sanctioned "studies" and fear mongering. The very "chronologically gifted" in this nation are the segment which drags down this percentage the most. As their outdated thinking is replaced by younger voices that actually have experience with cannabis, and science is introduced into the argument, the percentages of people who approve will continue to rise. It is only a matter of time. Marijuana prohibition is far more destructive than the plant could ever be.

I do not understand why anyone would fight to keep putting people in prison for an herb as mild as Marijuana. I take that back, I can understand why: they're brainwashed by propaganda.

There is no argument that can be won against making Marijuana legal. Our Marijuana policies are wrong any way you look at it (with exception to recent decisions about Medical Marijuana in select states).
