MDE not telling the whole story… again.

Why Minnesota Democrats Exposed has the traffic it does is beyond me.  I mean, a Republican operative using the internet as a nasty attack machine?  How original.  But as long as people read him, we’ll have to keep debunking his constant stream of partisan fallacies.

The latest?  Accusing Amy Klobuchar of misleading the public in her new ad (click the image to view) and then citing a Star Tribune article as evidence of the fact.  Too bad he forgot to quote the meaningful parts of the article:

Cummings, who founded a group called Minnesotans for Safe Driving after his son’s death, said he had tried to get such a law passed for years, but couldn’t get it done until Klobuchar joined the effort.

Klobuchar said she had made the push for a felony DWI law the top priority of her first term.

She could have asked one of the parents of a DWI victim whose case her office had handled to be in the ad, she said, but asked Cummings because she is proud of her work on the felony DWI law.

Boy, what a devious, devious politician.  Taking credit for helping out the father of of a DWI victim, how dare she!?
