U.S. Sen. Al Franken has it in for Brian Williams. That’s one conclusion to be drawn from Franken’s backing of a bill that would end tax breaks for pharmaceutical ads of the sort that pepper TV network news shows. Meanwhile, Franken is having unintended side effects of his own. National Geographic magazine is challenging other senators to draw their states from memory, inspired by Franken’s ability to draw all 50 states.

As the newscasters breathlessly egg on more AfghPakRaqRan war
in an Ambian haze we can all suck our Purple Pill and celebrate
with them how green our great economy is and how the banksters
are save us.
ABC-NBC-CBS-CNN-Faux are all basically giving us the daily propaganda feed and haven’t reported any news since the 1970s.
Go Al, pound that stake through the heart of the network bloodsuckers. Maybe they will stay down this time.
