You didn't honestly expect a local Realtor organization to tell the truth, did you? Truth in Real Estate is akin to getting an accurate, understandable price from anyone or anything in the medical arena. Real Estate organiztions are just one step above Chambers of Commerce when it comes to the truth. They live in a shadow world where prices are flexible, customers are fungible and consumers of their flim-flam sevices are held in contempt. Sell your own home and avoid the nagging worry about how much you're getting shafted by Real Estate professionals.
