Bachmann also urged her crazed, lemming-like followers to roam the halls of Congress to “see the whites of their eyes.” Let me remind you of the other part of that infamous Revolutionary War quote:

“Don’t fire until you see the whites of their eyes.”

That hardly sounds like a “personal appeal … for more rational action.”

Thanks for being a fan, Dennis! In announcing the event on Fox News, Bachmann specifically named the tea parties. Further, "Storm the Capitol" is the language rightwing news outlets and advocacy groups -- from WorldNetDaily to the Tea Party Patriots to Free Republic posters -- are using to describe the event.

Andy, since becoming a fan of the Minnesota Independent, I have arrived at the conclusion that a better name for your organization would be the Minnesota NOT SO Independent!

Bachmann’s appeal is not to “Tea Party activists” but to a much broader base of liberty-loving conservatives. She is NOT asking people to “storm the Capitol” but to make personal appeals to their Representatives and Senators for more rational action on the issue of health care.
