If the mainstream media ever got beyond her crazy soundbites and really dug into where Bachmann’s beliefs and support comes from, they would never entertain the thought that she was fit to occupy any office higher than she somehow has already managed to achieve. Her massive support from advocates of abolishing public education, her alliances with the likes of You Can Run But You Can’t Hide, Mac Hammond, Frank Vennes Jr., Olive Tree Ministries, Phyllis Schlafly, EdWatch and others–it’s all out there. This “freedom” and “grassroots” schtick is nothing more than a cover for the rest of her agenda, and the MSM has taken the bait again.
