I interviewed this woman at the CNN/Youtube debate viewing party sponsored by “The Patriot”. She calls herself a Ron Paul conservative in one sentence and then in the next sentence says we need to be in Iraq on Israel's behalf because they are the chosen people. Shouldn't be too hard for Keith to defeat.

Has Barb Davis White backed off of her support for Ron Paul, and is now unconditionally supporting John McCain? If not, that may be a reason for any lack of enthusiasm on the part of the RNC and MNGOP.

I don't believe for a second that it is the skin color of anyone with regard to the Republican party. It is the conservatism or failure to tow the ” I want to win by being a Democrat sycophant” line being put out by the blue bloods. In other words it is the POLITICS stupid. I know other candidates (white) that have received little to no support from the Party because they are conservative, or Paulites or what ever, they aren't towing the line put out by the McCain camp.
It has been a real interesting experience to be involved in politics this year. I would whole-heartedly recommend you all go for it. After all it is quintessentially American to do so. Otherwise you end up with Tyrants like the messiah.

Allen is an idiot. The leadership doesn't put money into races where we don't stand a chance, like the 5th district. Playing the victim card is very unbecoming for a GOP candidate – that's a DFL tactic.

Isn't it more likely that White is not getting any support because she has not reasonable chance in CD5? Shouldn't the GOP be spending its money in more competitive races?

Even though I'm not a big “R” fan, this is more about equity than politics and I am certainly a supporter of equity. Stay on 'em, make them explain why.
