Bradlee Dean, the founder of You Can Run But You Cannot Hide International, told the attendees of the group’s “Appeal to Heaven” fundraiser that the media “demonizes” him for bringing his fiery brand of Christianity into public schools.

“What is morality? The fruit of Christ! The fruit of morality is Jesus Christ! That’s why we do high school assemblies,” he said during the fundraiser, which included a videotaped message from Rep. Michele Bachmann.

“Again, people are demonizing me right now, and I think we have a couple of those folks here tonight,” he said. (The Minnesota Independent notified the ministry I would be attending). “Thank you for making me famous! You don’t understand the spiritual world at all, brother!”

He continued, “They demonize me, they take me out of context. I have yet to have one person in media say what I said line-by-line, precept upon precept. They try to demonize the truth because they want to justify themselves.”

Then Dean, stating that he “loves” gays and lesbians, directed his comments at this reporter. “I want to say this because I have love and compassion for the homosexual community. The homosexuals are being exploited by tyrants for their own use.”

“You be sure, liberal people back there,” he said, gesturing to the table where I sat. “Tell them I said so, tell them I love them enough to tell the truth. Tell them it’s not a hate crime to warn them!”

The crowd roared with applause.

Then he concluded:

“To the liberal whackjobs that are here: I love you! Put that in your paper! Put that in your paper! All right?”

Yeah, Dean loves homosexuals in the same way a dog loves the freshest part of the lawn.

Go, Andy, Go!
Go, Andy, Go!
Go, Andy, Go!

Dean doesn’t like the public seeing what he really is.

“To the liberal whackjobs that are here: I love you!”

He loves liberals so much, he calls them whackjobs, a crude reference to masturbation.

Perhaps more of truly Jesus-style love, less of the Bradlee Dean-style love would help his message along.

Hey! My dog really really does love the freshest part of the lawn. The interaction she has with that fresh part of the lawn is meaningful and full of life. And coliform bacteria. Full of them too.

I’d say what your dogs leave on the lawn probably have more personality than this pedophile in the making. Does he mke junior high girls swoon???
And that’s a real fresh look he’s cultivating there. What, mid-eighties mullet?? What’s next, a mustache??

What policy did my comment allegedly violate?

“No fake names?” You mean you want real identities like “Lazercat” or “T-Bag Jones”?

It was a perfectly valid question; why do you hide behind picayune, selectively-enforced rules to dodge it?

What demonizing? He himself admits “The fruit of morality is Jesus Christ! That’s why we do high school assemblies”, so he admits what he’s being “demonized” for: bringing religion to public schools.

“Kevin Szpola”: Found your comment today in spam: I don’t mind fake names, but the intent to deceive is what doesn’t jive with our comment policy. Your IP address clearly shows that you’ve been posting under your real name, until you started using a dyslexic version of Demko’s name. Stick with one username and I’ll OK your comments.

Yeah, it’s not a joke….this guy’s actually completely insane. The tragedy is that he’s got just enough charisma to attract a cult following, and enough drive to make big things happen. But that doesn’t take the crazy out. Sad.

I just heard Bradlee Dean speak about Senator Graham being blackmailed for being gay. Typical Christian slander in the service of garden-variety Christian paranoia. Then, of course, he went into his praise of Michelle Bachmann and Sarah Palin.

We can never forget the basic and most dangerous fact of democracy — 50% of voters have a below average IQ. Dumb people don’t check facts. Therefore, Bradlee Dean, Bachmann and Palin still gather crowds that don’t laugh at their transparent lies.

Cult-Christianity is one of the strongest forces in US politics. I attribute that to a failure of public education; it is also a failure of popular-commercial-culture. Otherwise there would be no market for the tripe that is marketed by these people — Bachmann, Palin & Dean — whose lies about America demonstrate that they hate everything America stands for.

It seams fitting for people to deamonize a demon, and anyone who lusts for mass murder as much as him certainly fits the bill.

The most homophobic of people like Bradlee Dean, are usually, almost always, deeply closeted self hating faggots hiding behind religion.
