It is pretty crazy when a single parent has to worry about not accepting too many hours working at 2 low paying jobs because of the lack of health care plans available. Work too much you get cut off Minnesota Care.

Thanks for thinking of your people Rep. Peterson!

11.3% uninsured for district 7.

But that number probably doesn't include any worthwhile people, anyway.

Ok, so there are higher rates of uninsured.

Scaling for race, immigration status, country of origin, vocation, income, location/number of specialists, and everything else,

1)Are the infant mortality rates higher?

2) Is the life expectancy shorter?

3) Is canncer survival lower?

In other words, does the lower rate of insurance ownership lead to reduced healthcare outcomes?

Demagogues never let facts stand in the way of a good fear mongering campaign. Inconvenient facts can be ignored while spewing calibrated lies to mislead and confuse the public. Republicans are masters of this manipulation technique and so it appears that some democrats are learning to emulate this ugly behavior. Cowpies to all of them.

If I may link to something I wrote, I looked at the possibility of finding a DFL challenger for Peterson in light his decision not just to vote against his constituents' interests, but to do so after getting the concession the blue dogs wanted.
