Video: Pawlenty on Obama’s ‘dangerous liberal agenda’

Recent criticisms of Tim Pawlenty’s nascent (if undeclared) presidential campaign have focused on the governor’s strategy of trying to appeal to far-right Republicans instead of being true to his more moderate past (his “Romneyfication,” if you will). Yet during his appearance on Sean Hannity’s show yesterday it’s Pawlenty who was leveling charges of a bait-and-switch. He told Fox audiences that Barack Obama’s presidency is “one of the biggest bait and switch schemes in modern American political history… And he ran as somebody was gonna unite the country and now he’s governing as someone who has a very dangerous liberal agenda.”

Keep ramping up the rhetoric Mr. Pawlenty. Soon you’ll sound just like the Boehner’s and Cornyn’s, Palin’s and Beck’s of the Republican party …. stridently wrong on virtually every public policy position
