Oberstar makes his voice heard, endorsing Clark to beat Bachmann

U.S. Rep. Jim Oberstar endorsed state Sen. Tarryl Clark today as the DFL’s best bet to beat Rep. Michele Bachmann next year. The elder statesman of the Minnesota congressional delegation said in September that Bachmann was “hearing other voices” than God’s; now he wants Minnesota’s Sixth District voters to hear Clark’s.
“Tarryl is a winner — she’s already won in this district,” Oberstar says in a video at Clarks’ campaign website.

Oberstar supported the Stupak-Pitts Amendment. Now is NOT the time for Tarryl to become a DINO like Oberstar is, especially if she wants to raise money from progressive women at her Chino Latino Happy Hour in Minneapolis tonight.

Give it up. The Democrats are lucky if they can now hold on to what they have.
