bakkWith 34 years experience as a carpenter, this probably shouldn’t come as a suprise: the 50,000-member Minnesota State Building and Construction Trades Council has endorsed DFLer Tom Bakk for governor. A former union leader, Bakk won the council’s praise for a focus on jobs. “More than any other industry in this state, construction is experiencing brutal unemployment,” Council President Harry Melander said in a statement. “Tom knows firsthand what our members are going through, and will fight for jobs for them and their families.”

The state senator from Cook called it “a huge endorsement from a powerhouse of an organization.”

It’s his third union endorsement. Earlier this year, he got the backing of North Central States Regional Council of Carpenters and Duluth Building and Construction Trades Council

Do Not vote for anyone who takes money from out of State, PACs, Corporations, 501 or 527 non-profits.

These are the tools of the corporations and unions. \

These people do not care if you have a job or not.
