I own a mid-sized business in MA. When Romney was Gov, My taxes went down and my employees premiums went down as well. Romney didn't stay long enough to tweak out any unforeseen problems. He vetoed the goodies that the MA legislature added LATER under Governor Patrick. The supposed problems with Romney's health care program in MA are attributable to the changes made by the new governor - who has bloated it, over-regulated it and applied it to illegals. The cost of Romney care is less than 1.3% of the States budget. Patrick has chosen not to make Healthcare a Priority. If he would, the 1.3%, would be even less. Ma fiscal problems are a result of Patrick. He spends money like a kid in a candy store. In addition, Romney has stated that Individual states should determine health care issues in their states. This should not be mandated by Washington. a study was done recently shows that MA RESIDENTS still like the system. It seems MA HEALTH CARES biggest critics, DON'T LIVE IN MA!

Romney respectfully worked across the aisle with his opponents, presented data and analysis, and convinced his opponents there was a way to address healthcare in MA. MA was a well-run State under Romney.

After Romney left, Devil Patrick (Democratic Governor after Romney), aborted the rules and undermined the intended plan. He lacked the will and discipline to operate the plan as it was intended, and made changes that dramatically ran up costs. Those errors need to be squarely at the feet of Governor Patrick, not attributing the overruns to the guy who was long gone when things went awry.

Romney is strangely unlike others in politics: He is actually competent to run an economy and create jobs. (Unfortunately, we are suffering because BO is utterly lacking in basic economic competency and understanding of where jobs come from. It will be a LONG four years under a President who is WAAAY over his head.

In order for someone to solve a problem, that person has to first be aware of it, and second have a desire to do something about it. Romney demonstrated both as Governor. America needs healthcare reform – not what Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi want – but we do need reform. Mitt Romney is the only Republican with any credibility on the issue. Romney 2012!
