East-Lake points out new billboards produced by The Daily Show to welcome the Republican National Convention. This one, near Highway 77 and 494, welcomes “rich white oligarchs.” Jon Stewart’s Comedy Central show will be taping in St. Paul Sept. 2 through 5 at The History Theatre at McNally Smith College of Music.

Does it matter that all of the individuals pictured on that billboard have net worth/wealth over 2.5 million dollars? Another fine example of the pot calling the kettle black. I'd like to meet Stewart, Olbermann and a few of these other hypocrites and ask them where the hell they get off labeling every Republican as such. You'd think if liberals had any brains, they'd see this and WOULD vote Republican…

Jon Stewart is no Oligarch!
And, besides….unless they're making over 5 million dollars, they're not rich!
Thing is, while one may not find this funny, these folks on this BB are comedians. Their business IS satire.
This is great! Love the BB.

Really? You think any one of them other than Stewart has money? And, be honest, every woman or African-American Republican is an honorary white Christian male. I also enjoy your sound reasoning. What are you doing reading independent media, anyway?

Looking up the meaning of the word “Oligarchs”, I would have to say as a conservative, if it was suppose to be a slight they missed the mark. We need to be governed by just a few, saves us and the country money in the long run.

2,380 delegates at the convention. 36 of them are black. Look at photos of the crowd. The facts speak for themselves here, folks.
For those looking for actual oligarchs, you are apparently immune to satire.
