bachmanniaAOL’s Politics Daily should add itself to its own “Losers” list. Eight days after Rep. Michele Bachmann told Glenn Beck‘s radio audience that the Democrats’ health care reform plan would include “death panels” — the term dubbed “Lie of the Year” by Politifact also made FactCheck’s “Whoppers of 2009″ list — the site heralds the Minnesota Republican on its list of the top 15 “winners” of the year. Its rationale:

Bachmann is smart, she’s attractive, she’s got five kids, but she doesn’t waste time on matters like “death panels” or Levi Johnston…

You don’t have to call it a death panel, but what do you call a committee that decides if you get treatment or not based on cost and a bill that tells you you can not privately pay for medical treatment?

They decide on your life or death…

It is in the bill that passed the senate, not sure about the house version, but I don’t doubt it is in there as well.
