I am the previous director of the St. Croix Valley Life Care Center referred to in this article. I stopped counting after finding over 5 mistakes in just the first few paragraphs. Andy, if you are going to write an article about organizations misrepresenting the truth, at least make sure your article contains some truth. I'll just address one of the many issues you've reported on errouneously. Check out Jill Stanek's website and read about the recently published scientific articles connecting breast cancer with abortion. One strain of breast cancer that occurs in younger women is particulary related to abortion. I'm looking forward to the day this information is more widely published.

Public policy about health has to be grounded in the best information that scientists can provide. Faith communities can do with that what they will, but we have to work off of the same facts.

According to Dennis Holman's comment, "A faith-based organization will not, knowingly, misrepresent information provided to patrons."

Please tell me you don't believe that! Faith-based misrepresentation of facts is visible all the way to the Pope. Don't make me 'splain it to you!

'God is administering a beat down to the godless heathen scientists. He told me to tell you that. Plus he is taking your tax money to do it and he told me to tell you “ha, you lose”.'

There's some of that Christian love they're so known for.

Dennis says "A faith-based organization will not, knowingly, misrepresent information provided to patrons."

You don't have to look very hard to see that that is a mistaken (at best) or dishonest (at worst) statement, Dennis. Almost sounds a little....ignorant...doesn't it?

A great place to start would be reading this fine article.

Isn't it some kind of fraud or malpractice to provide misleading medical information or advice?
