Washington Post on Parry’s tweet-scrubbing: ‘Um, not smart’

Picture 22The Washington Post’s Chris Cillizza offers state Senate candidate Mike Parry as example number “4,786 in our continuing series entitled: ‘Why politicians shouldn’t use Twitter.’” The Republican, running for the open seat in Senate District 26, defended then apologized for tweets he’d deleted that were dubbed racist and homophobic by bloggers and the DFL. Of an additional Parry tweet that “sought to link Democrats to pedophilia,” Cillizza says, simply, “Um, not smart.
