‘Punk’ ministry head Dean: Marshal appointment illegal because Lubinski’s a lesbian

Bradlee Dean

“Homosexuality is against the law in the United States,” says Bradlee Dean, the head of the “punk rock” ministry You Can Run But You Cannot Hide, which brings its overtly religious message to public schools at taxpayer expense. Therefore, he concludes, the appointment by Barack Obama of Minneapolis’ Sharon Lubinski, a lesbian, as a U.S. Marshal is illegal.

On his radio show on AM 1280 The Patriot on Saturday, Dean said, “Sodomy is against the law in the United States. Homosexuality is against the law in the United States.”

“…But, what did Obama do and Amy Klobuchar do? They nominated Sharon Lubinski to the U.S. Marshal in the state of Minnesota,” he continued. “Not only is she the first woman, but she is the first lesbian to serve in such a position. Again folks, this is against the law.”

A bit later, he chides Gov. Tim Pawlenty for not stopping the Lubinski appointment:

“Why are these laws not being enforced? Why was a lesbian just nominated for the U.S. Marshal nominated for the U.S. Marshal on your watch? Don’t sit there and tell me you don’t have any power to do anything about it. You have all the power to do something about it.”

Dean’s ministry has plenty of political support from big names in Pawlenty’s party. U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann has been involved in You Can Run fundraising efforts, and GOP gubernatorial candidate Tom Emmer was among attendees at the group’s most recent fundraiser. Congressional candidate Allen Quist and Republican Mary Kiffmeyer, former secretary of state, are among the organization’s backers.

Lubinski, sworn in Friday, is widely believed to be the first openly lesbian Marshal in U.S. history.

It’s not much of an achievement for this gentleman to be both bigoted and wrong in his bigotry.

What a jerk – spreading hate in the name of Jesus.

Can Mr. Dean please cite exactly where in the Federal law it says that sodomy is against the law? Is it possible he is lying? Gee, a Christian liar? Like Bachmann?

Second, can Mr. Dean please cite how “homosexuality” can be against the law? Is that a “thought crime”?

I am fed up with the ignorance and bigotry of these so-called “Christians.” Pawlenty has no power to effectively prevent the POTUS from appointing whomever he pleases to any position he pleases. And, since when did homosexuality in America become illegal? Just because Bradlee Dean, Bachmann, and their supporters think this should be the case doesn’t mean it IS the case. More hate and fear-mongering from the ignorant and bigoted. Evidently these folks didn’t read in their Bible where Jesus clearly calls for the separation of church and state with the words, “Render unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s and render unto God the things which are God’s,” after examining a coin with Caesar’s head on it and being questioned by a non-believer who was trying to trap him into saying something that the Pharisees and Sadducees could use against Him. Although this may not be the specific quote, it is basically what Jesus said. I’m so tired of these people using the Bible and Christianity to push their personal agendas because, to me, they always end up looking like fools. Christianity is not based on fear. In fact, the two things are the exact opposite of each other and cannot co-exist successfully if one is a Christian. I pray daily for God to deal with these CINOs.

What a douchebag. And there’s nothing punk about that shorty band, stupid politics aside.

Dressing like Bret Michaels circa 1985 should be illegal. That’s a totally fresh look this idiot is cultivating. Long, nasty split-ended hair is soooo 2010.

Don’t know what century or what planet Dean lives, but the 2003 SCOTUS decision, Lawrence v Texas, nullified ALL the sodomy laws in ALL the United States. Why is it that ignorant and bigoted seem almost synonymous?

1 Corinthians 11:14–”Does not the very nature of things teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a disgrace to him…” I rest my case.

someone has about a decade of news to read in order to catch up. Amazing that someone this ill-informed would have a radio show. He should probably start with the US Supreme Court’s decision in Lawrence v. Texas. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lawrence_v._Texas

Why study things like legal cases, laws, and what have you when you’ve got the fricken infallible Word of God?

This guy is just another ugly limp dick who goes to Christian rock because he and his band can’t make it in real rock. What a poser! No musical chops and no talent… other than being an opportunist pretend “Christian” rocker.

Once again, we have a bunch of sheeple speaking of that which they know not of. The entire universe is based on the law of opposites. This is how God made things, you can’t have one without the other. For instance, there is the law of electricity. You cannot get a flashlight to work by putting two like ends of a battery together, you have to join the two opposites together in order to complete the circuit. The same concept applies to people, in order to create a baby, you must have male and female joined together. This is the way the world works, and there’s nothing any of you can do about it. Webster’s 1828 Dictionary defines sodomy as follows: “A crime against nature.” Period. That says it all, I rest my case. And by the way, this is also how the crime of sodomy is described in the laws of all 50 states!

The bigoted Leviticus tattoo covered hypocrite, Bradlee Dean, is nothing but an idle minded Christian rock, “has been,” “sex drop-out” liar, that should be put out to pasture, and thereafter, placed into the Rock and Roll Loser’s Hall of Fame. Everything that Michele Bachmann and her sidekick punk says are nothing but a repeat of Nazi lies made of pure hate that were told by the Nazis before and during the second world war.

The Bachmann and Dean team proclaim that they are the official proprietors of what is “natural,” but in all actuality, they are the haters and deniers of God’s nature itself and all that is natural according to God’s Nature. It is my belief that God and Nature are one in the same, that is why I capitalize the word, “Nature.”

These bigoted people invented what they think is natural, just like they invented what they think is God. Nature (God) was not invented by humans, God (Nature) was here long before humans ever arrived on the face of the Earth.

Someone should wet paint a swastika on Dean’s trap set stool, so that when he stands up, everyone can see what he truly is.

You are taking that passage from the Christian Bible out of context. It has to do with a man hiding behind his long hair in shame. I don’t think that Bradlee Dean is hiding behind his long hair is shame, he seems very proud of his bigoted Nazi heritage.

Yay … More violent Chrsitian fascists. What is probably even worse is that the majority of decent Christians (or, say, human beings) won’t stand up to them.

I knew Bradlee 15 years ago, back then he was marching to the beat of his own drums and he hasn’t changed. While he’s pointing his finger at the “sinners” in the world and giving praises to our enemies maybe he should tell the world about his own “dirt.”
