bachmann on hannity stillRep. Michele Bachmann will head to St. Louis next week to speak at the Educational Policy Conference 21 put on by the Constitutional Coalition, a Missouri-based conservative group. The conference, “What makes America work?,” will be headlined by Fox’s Glenn Beck and will feature religious right luminaries such as Phyllis Schlafly, Joseph Farah and Rick Santorum. The event is among several others in Bachmann’s schedule over the next month including California, South Dakota, Ohio, Tennessee and her “House Call” in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday.

The $350-a-seat ($500 with Glenn Beck) dinner will be on Feb. 4. The conference will include a slew of workshops including one presented by Bachmann: “Fundamentals of a Good Education to Keep Us Free and Strong.”

Among the presentations are Brigitte Gabriel’s “Islamic Infiltration of America’s Educational System,” Rick Santorum’s “How to rid your TV of ALL Sexual programs and advertisements,” and Dr. Jerry Newcomb’s “Endowed by our Creator: The Role of God in America.”

From the registration website (registration required):

WHAT MAKES AMERICA WORK?

GLENN BECK will be our Friday night speaker, and we will travel by bus to the Chaifetz Arena with a box dinner – all this is included in your registration fee! The arena holds 11,000, so this will be quite exciting as GLENN addresses our theme of WHAT MAKES AMERICA WORK!

EPC 21 opens this year with dinner on Thursday, February 4, 2010, at 6:30 p.m. You won’t want to miss our keynote speaker, MICHAEL MEDVED, who is a conservative political commentator, film critic, author, and radio program host of the eighth-most-listened-to talk show in the country.

In addition to the list of speakers previously provided, we have added: DAVID HOROWITZ, author of “Radical Son,” “Rules for Revolution,” and “One Party Classroom.” CONGRESSWOMAN MICHELE BACHMANN, a regular on FOX, “Fundamentals to Keep us Free.” SENATOR RICK SANTORUM, who will connect the dots between Radical Islam and Pro-Abortionists. KAREN ENGLAND, California’s Mandated (no opt-out) Homosexual Lessons. DR. PATRICK FAGAN, Family Research Council, on the Research on Homosexuality and Family. DR. WILLIAM FORSTCHEN, author of “One Second After” and “To Try Men’s Souls” (with Newt Gingrich)

Tickets for the GLENN BECK Rally on Friday have gone on sale to the public through an independent sales office. Since we anticipate an early sellout, Friday seating for EPC attendees will be reserved in the order that the EPC registrations are received. In addition to the opportunity to hear GLENN BECK, there will be a separate reception/dinner before the rally for those who wish to meet him in person.

How very grassroots. Another opportunity to pay $500 to see our congresswoman speak in another state.

So, what are they seeing as the bigger threat to their way of life – schoolkids turning gay or Muslim?

If there was ever a grouping of individuals who are the perfect poster children for why receiving a proper education is important – it would be this gaggle of misfits…

I am particularly interested in the : Rick Santorum’s “How to rid your TV of ALL Sexual programs and advertisements,” session….. how long does it take to say – only let you kids watch children’s PBS and none of the nature programs…

The foolish sheeple will pay out to see these clowns…. ahh Missouri – the gift that keeps on giving…

These people are nuts! No way would I pay $500 to ride a bus to see Beck while eating a box dinner. Anyone who doesn’t know that this is a fundraiser for the speakers’ benefit needs financial counseling.

They shouldn’t be able to put “education” in the name with this group. Should be a pretty good dumbing down goin’ on.

Bachman and Beck, two individuals who are clearly in need of psychiatric help.

First I’d like Michelle Bachman to define what she means by freedom? And second why she even thinks she is qualified to educate anyone on anything?

Considering the fact that when Michelle warned her constituents against filling out the census forms (because they would be sent to internment camps) she apparently did not realize it could cost Minnesota a seat — more-than-likely, hers. ♠

Bachman gets away with saying the most outlandish things. Just when you think nothing could top the last one, Michelle bests herself every time. I can’t wait to hear what she has to say next.

But what I do not understand is how anyone (in their right mind) could take this woman seriously! The fact that people do, I find deeply troubling and deeply worrisome for the future of America.

The same goes for Glenn Beck and a whole hosts of others.

Santorum’s section on “connection the dots between radical islam and pro-abortionists” will be quite a feat, considering radical islamists are more anti-abortion than Santorum.

Bachman and Beck are now planning to use the religious right to gain political power. As I recall that’s right out of the Bush play book. How did Bush work out for the religious right? You better off now than when Bush took office? Don’t be fooled again!!
These are the same people philosophically that privatized wall street profits and socialized its losses at our expense. And let’s face it Bachman is less than stable and she took over 100 thousand dollars in subsidies from the govt.
“You will know them by thier deeds.” Not what they say!

Expect this meeting to be high comical material to the highest degree.

Join the ranks of Malkin and Palin.

Good luck to Minnessoa congressional rerun, Bachman. You will need lots of it!

Fox news have turned American politics into a reality television comedy. How disrespectful of Murdoch to allow this self-promoting bunch of idiots to disrupt our government.

A small correction. Bachmann and her family have taken WAYYYYYYYYY more than 100,000 in state money. They took in 23 foster kids and warehoused them. The state pays all the medical, educational, and other bills for the foster kids and then also gives the foster parents 1,100 per month per kid.

Let’s see (author sticks his tongue out sideways, licks his pencil and starts to cipherin’) 23 kids times 1100 per month is about 25,000 per month times 12 months is about 300,000 dollars a year. And while they were doing this they had time to run a counciling service (Bachmann’s husband is an unlicensable “councilor” with no credentials, but hey, why let integrity limit your income?) and she was running for office. Just how much care do you think these kids got under the “care” of the Bachmann’s?
