No one is starving in Gaza. The Palestinian people get 8 times the aid, per capita than Haita . They get more aid than any other people in the world.

A recent report by UNICEF says the Palestinians have the second LOWEST rate of stunting and malunutrition in the Arab Middle east. Only children in oil rich Qatar are healthier.

Whats more, people in Gaza have a 15% obesity rate- same as Canada. Please people- lets keep the discussion honest at least

While I believe that this is simply a horse and pony show, to apppeal to progressives in the DFL, I still applaud it. However, we can be sure that all of the "progressive" Congresspersons will never actually oppose their partys leadership on the continued funding of all of the human rights abusers.. Including Israel which is the highest recepient to the tune of (I believe) $4 Billion/year. In fact I expect that now that the DFL are in the minority and so powerless, they will suddenly develop a "spine" and so continue the Kabuki Theatre aspect of politics that is this nation.

However, the blatant racism and bigotry of those in the other end of Kabuki Theatre politics must also be addressed. That is, of course the bigots at the "right" end here.

Or can we expect New York Congressman, Republican Pete King to be raided by the FBI for his open support of the IRA in the 80-90's? Led of course by the "conservatives" who are so opposed to "terrorism." Or is it just the "terrorism" of dark skinned people that is bad. That those Irish folks who did these acts of desperation are some how more acceptable?

I know that so many "conservatives" here or indeed "progressives" in Congress and elsewhere will never call for Congressman King to face a Grand Jury investigation into support of terrorism."

So please, carry on with your Kabuki Theatre politics.

To quote George Carlin (RIP)
"Forget the politicians. They are there to make you think you have a chioce. You don't..You have owners. They OWN you. It's a big club folks and we ain't in it."

They, the owners do not own my soul.. At least I can claim that.

Now please. Carry on "lefties" and "righties" with your Kabuki Theatre..

It is what your owner want..

They have to protect themselves. Time and time again, they have been lied to and tricked into being killed, blown up, kidnapped...(even by someone dressed as a woman or humanitarian .....securing their country is a right they have. Jerusalem belongs to Israel, Gaza belongs to Israel. Israel has tried hard for so many years to make a peaceful living with their neighbors allowing them to work, shop, receive medical care, to worship freely as they chose......on Israeli soil. But that's not good enough for their extremist neighbors. The only thing they receive in return is lies, a bad reputation, constant attacks, lies, lies, lies. It's sad. I'm very proud of the US officials (all parties) who are finally standing up to this current administration for treating our allies so badly. It's been proven time and again. When you mess with God's people, God will mess with you. Pray for Israel and for the Muslims who love peace.
