When Republican activist Rae Hart Anderson last ran for Minnesota Senate, she ended up conceding the race to Sen. Satveer Chaudhary, the state’s first Hindu legislator, by urging him to convert to Christianity. Four years later, she’s again facing off with Chaudhary. But while she’ll be bringing the same religious fervor — both pro-Christian and anti-Muslim — to the table, she’s adding a noteworthy new belief: the insistence that President Barack Obama isn’t the legitimate president of the United States.
Deeply involved in GOP politics, Anderson is currently the precinct chair for the Republican Party in Fridley. She also ran for the deputy chair position in the Republican Party of Minnesota in 2007, losing to incumbent Dorothy Fleming. In her 2006 Senate challenge to Chaudhary, she was endorsed by the GOP.
In a post on her campaign site titled “The United States Preambles are Christian,” Anderson questions Obama’s citizenship by calling him Barry Saetoro, a name commonly found in “birther” discussions.
Talking point:
Socialized medicine is a tool of SUBJECTION used in other countries to eliminate privacy and some people who don’t count as much. I expect that soon, very soon the DFLers will revolt, too, since they’re people–not subjects of ‘his royal highness’ Barry Saetoro; OR ‘her royal highness’ either, Nancy Pelosi.
Anderson ratchets up the rhetoric further when she talks about the health care reform bill:
WHAT’S THE MATTER WITH THE ONE WHO SPEAKS AND SPEAKS AND SPEAKS–AND REFUSES TO ALLOW AMERICANS TO READ AND READ AND READ THE BILL THAT BARRY HAD OTHERS WRITE AND DECODE–SORT OF LIKE THAT PRETTY BIRTH CERTIFICATE WITH NO DOCTOR AND NO HOSPITAL–WAS THERE A BIRTH WEIGHT AND LENGTH? IT’S UNIQUE, NO DOUBT. NOW FOR THE HEALTH CARE BILL…LET’S NOT LET HIM ACCOMPLISH “A HEALTH CARE BOOK FOR IDIOTS”…WITH A BLACK AND YELLOW COVER…LIKE THOSE OTHER IDIOTS BOOKS. HEALTH CARE IS NO JOKE AND NOT FOR AMATEURS.
When she posted an image of Obama’s birth certificate she asked:
Where is the name of the physician, the hospital. No witnesses to this event? Did it happen in Canada? Kenya [?]–as “some relatives” stated? Where DID our U.S. President come from?
A devout Christian, Anderson has written extensively about religion on her campaign website. And it’s in that context that she often talks about Islam:
Muslims are used to hate, and will follow the hatefilled Muslim way to kill and torture even Muslims, as Mohamed did to those who disagreed with him.
It’s okay to do evil if you do it to disagreeing Muslims. The rule is conform or else, apparently. See for yourself and decide as you follow the link. Jesus loves the Muslims, and could help them love one another! “Pray for your enemies, do good to those who despitefully use you.” –Jesus ###
In December, she continued the theme:
LOOK AT MUSLIM COUNTRIES KILLING, BEHEADING, AMPUTATING, SEVERE TORTURING OF BELIEVERS IN CHRIST AND OF JEWS. MUSLIM LAWS PROMOTE THREATENINGS AND PROMOTE BELIEVING OBVIOUS LIES–LIES THAT SAY THAT EVERYONE ELSE DESERVES DEATH EXCEPT THEM AND THEIR WAY RIGIDITY–INCREDIBLE. DIVERSITY IS NOT PRACTICED UNDER SHARIA LAW. READ IT. COULD DIVERSITY AND SHARIA LAW CO-EXIST? YOU DECIDE.
Sen. Chaudhary declined to comment on Anderson’s campaign materials, but local Republican Party officials did weigh in, putting some distance between themselves and Anderson’s rhetoric.
“Ms. Anderson is entitled to her opinions,” Carleton Crawford, 5th Congressional District chair for the Republicans, told the Minnesota Independent. He added, however, that the writings on Anderson’s campaign website “do not represent my views, the views of the 5th CD Republicans or, to the extent of my knowledge, the Republican Party of Minnesota.”
While Anderson won the party’s endorsement last time, John Anderson, chair of House District 50A Republicans, said that delegates will have a choice at the local Republican convention on Mar. 20. Gina Bauman will also be seeking the Republican endorsement to run against Chaudhary in November.
“Rae has the right to say whatever she would like on her campaign website as protected by the First Amendment,” he said. “If this is how she feels our delegates will take that into consideration when casting their votes.”
“We are the party of religious freedom,” he added. “Many of the statements that Rae has made in her website are contradictory to our belief that everyone has the right to worship how they wish.”
Rae Hart Anderson didn’t respond to the Minnesota Independent’s interview requests, but her web site offers ample evidence of her stance on Christianity and religious freedom.
In her blog post, “Minnesota is included in this Christian Nation, the USA,” Anderson writes:
The U.S.A., this Christian nation, is built on the biblical foundations of the prophets and the apostles, and anchored to eternal priorities through the love and the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our founding documents are signed mostly by ministers…
…All religions are free to practice their faith in America unless there is infringement on other’s safety, basically. All citizens get to vote and run for office. Freedom to choose is a basic part of our Christian nation. This is not the meaning of ‘choice’ in our modern vernacular–meaning death to babies! This choice the Bible speaks of is to choose to follow God’s way, a higher way that includes relationship with our Creator…
…Christians can be friendly, and firm and loving and act on their living faith in a LIVING GOD, OUTLOUD–or not. True, Christians are not perfect–they are forgiven. This is our Christian country. We share it willingly, constitutionally, freely, with others who are not Christians and many who are not citizens–but who are also here.
The SD50 incumbent is intimately familiar with Anderson’s beliefs — when she conceded in 2006, she sent Chaudhary, Minnesota’s only elected Hindu, an email urging him to accept Jesus Christ as his personal savior.
Congratulations on winning the District 50 senate race. Your phone is “busy”…no doubt with good wishes!
I’ve enjoyed much of this race, especially the people I’ve met…even you! I see your deficits–not all of them, and your potential–but not all of it. Only your Creator knows the real potential He’s put in you. Get to know Him and know yourself…you’ll be more interesting even to you!
The race of your life is more important than this one–and it is my sincere wish that you’ll get to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. He died for the sins of the world, yours and mine–and especially for those who accept His forgiveness. His kingdom will come and His will be done–on earth as it is in heaven. There’s more….I love belonging to the family of God. Jesus is the way, the truth and offers His life to you and each human being. Pay attention…this is very important, Satveer. Have you noticed Jesus for yourself…at some moment in time, yet???
God commends His love to us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:8Death came upon all and was defeated by the superiority of Jesus’ life and His tomb is empty. God in Christ is reconciling the world back to Himself, with offered forgiveness–this is one choice we get to make nose to nose with the living God–fear Him and you need fear no other. Become His family and know the love of God that passes knowledge. See Isaiah and the Gospel of John…good reading while waiting for fishes to bite.
God sent not His son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
John 3:17Jesus Christ lives in His earth family by His Spirit. He said He’d be back, and He said it first. You could invite Him to make the race of your life ‘eternal’. God waits to be gracious to each person that knows they need to be forgiven. Do you? I think you do. Just ask. Christ won eternal life for you and said so. Take Him at His Word. Take some time to get acquainted with this power-filled Jesus…God with us. You could be a temple of the living God, by invitation—yours, TO GOD.
There’s nothing like belonging to Christ…not winning, not money, not degrees…it’s the best.
Good wishes and better wishes…until you wish for the best!
Rae Hart Anderson

She is a CINO. Anyone who pushes hatred of any kind is not like Jesus Christ. According to the Bible, when the people in a town wanted to stone a woman for her sins, it was Jesus who reminded them that they themselves were not free of sin and, therefore, were not qualified to pass judgment on her. People like Ms. Anderson have usurped the powers of Jesus and God, and have made themselves judges, jurors, and executioners of their fellow men.

WOW. The sooner God needs her in heaven, the better. You know what that means. Then again, if there is a world above, she has a better chance of seeing herself in the world below. She is full of hate and has no business in politics. How she earned the nomination of the Republicans is anyone’s guess. Then again, she reminds me a lot of Michelle Bachmann.

She says: “COULD DIVERSITY AND SHARIA LAW CO-EXIST? YOU DECIDE.”
If people like her got their way, we would know what Xtian version of Sharia law is like. Different only by a matter of degree.
She insulted Sen. Satveer Chaudhary with her concession.

I wouldn’t call it a “birther” message. It’s a “Constititional” message!
People are becoming more informed about the eligibility issue.
The real question is why the MSM is not questioning this.

The fact that this poor, hate-filled, conspiracy-obsessed woman holds the GOP party chair in Fridley speaks volumes about the Republican party; none of it good.
Hatred is not a True Christian Value. May God bless and help her see the error of her ways.

The stock Republican response is that her opinions are her own. There are nutcases in both parties, and I don’t want to say that more of them are Republicans. The real question is why are these nutcases so comfortable in the Republican Party that they run for office while flaunting their lunatic opinions?

I agree with the comment above that this woman has no place in polictics, period. In fact (imho), Her racisism and need to prosthelytize has no place anywhere in a future once again progressive America. People like this CREATE terrorism. She’s throwing some fairly hefty stones from her glass house. Also, imho, association with people like her, and buddying up with the Christian Coalition in general, are the worst things that ever happened to the Republican party – which as as DFL’er is just fine by me. Wow, I hope that Rae Hart Anderson and Pat Robertson have a large voice in the coming elections. Good luck, GOP (lmao).

It used to be so refreshing when one’s political opposition ran a nut-job candidate; it put things in perspective and assured votes for one’s own choice. Now, alas, they’re actually taking these people seriously. On the other hand, I’m glad to see that “privacy in medicine” is a major point for her — at least she’s (apparently) pro-choice.

“Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about the things that matter most.” Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr
God, family, country! The founding documents. Life liberty and the pursuit of happiness! Fairness. Justice. Opportunity. Responsibility. New beginnings. Faith, hope and love in action in this ‘One nation under God–and all of us have rights not given by our government, but by God. “For liberty God has set us free, don’t get entangled again in a yoke of bondage.”
America celebrates human rights, freedom of religion, freedom to assemble, free speech, freedom of the press–even freedom to mismanage information as one ‘reporter’ apparently does. Read the rest of the story for yourself, I always say! There were a few things that were left out of his story. But he did get us ‘involved’ with his tale of woe! Bad news sells and smells! He left out the fragrance of some very good news, pointedly, persistently.
Now, which god? For me as a Christian this is the God Who is with us. The wide awake and living God of the Bible–’Who lives and abides forever.’ I went to a Billy Graham meeting in Minneapolis, and walked forward to get materials to read. A kind and patient person talked to me about Jesus dying for my sins. I asked forgiveness for those–yes, there were some. My forgiveness is ongoing, praise God. But the greatest thing was I became a new creation, born of God’s Spirit into a new life. Can a man be born when he is old? The answer in John 3, that Jesus gave, is yes. Life changes, has depth and breadth and newness…inexplicable almost. It’s simply stated eternal life. All are welcomed. I said yes.
Genesis 1:1, Torah and Jewish scripture begins by saying, “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth…” The New Testament states, “The Father sent the Son, Jesus, to be the Savior of the world.” Jesus, a divinely born King of kings, is God with us, by His Spirit according gospels. Jews, Muslims and Christians believe God is ALIVE–we are called, ‘children of Abraham’, and children of God, our Father.
And, oh, so right you are, hate is not a Christian value–unless it would be to hate sin starting with our own sins, primarily. Then we dare not cast the first stone. Then we’re eternally grateful, and dare tell saints, sinners, slaves, sorcerers, senators and presidents that the living God loves them too much to ignore them and leave them as is–unless they INSIST AND RESIST GOD. OK THEN. We get to go our own way, too.
Christians are commanded to tell ‘good news’ and invite others. That’s what Christians do…and not in a cloister or a closet. GO, “Tell the world…”
Love and action go hand in hand. Compassion, health, food, clothes, education–Christians believe and give more. Jesus said to go tell the world about love that lasts, and that He died to pay for the sins of the world. Sins paid in full, for those who simply ask Him. The Manhattan Declaration explains more, better than I can.
Christians reach out and invite others to know the forgiveness and love that keeps coming to us, with Amazing Grace, from a LIVING GOD. Strangely, people from all over the world visit the empty tomb of the living Jesus, seen after His resurrection by hundreds of people. Not even a bone there. He’s gone and near as a wish and a prayer.
Christians didn’t carve Jesus and create Him by some figment of our imagination. He created us. He formed us, and breathed life into us. Here we are–created in the image of God! Shhhhhhh…not. Speak out, live boldly, act up–helpfully, of course! Christians are definitely allowed to share their faith, it’s required–and often their money and worldly goods… or as some once said, “Our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor..” to give birth to this nation. Birthers they were!
Now what about the U.S.President spending over a million dollars to keep his birth records and college records hidden. Why not just reveal these? We are a nation of laws. The law says to be president you must be born in America–natural born, and even C-Section counts, I’m told. (Sorry, couldn’t resist).
And what about laws that hurt and harm? The U.S. has had some of those. We have had to change our laws, i.e.– ‘women cannot vote’; and ’slaves aren’t really people’–so very wrong. We admit WE WERE WRONG. WE CHANGED THOSE LAWS. Next, Roe v. Wade needs to be changed–500,000 Minnesota babies considered not to have human rights, tortured to death under their Mom’s own heartbeat. [Gitmo isn't worse than killing the vulnerable and the innocent, and we are dealing with that issue, why not abortion?] And actual laws that come from Moslem countries under Sharia Law absolutely shocked me. I was appalled, and you would be, too. One of our GOP chairs gave out the movie “Obessession”–did I spell it right? It reveals truth about injustices. It is harsh. We should be shocked. But people can change. Laws can change. America is proof that change happens, sometimes for the worse, and sometimes for the best. I’m thinking start with ‘better law’ and go on to try for the best laws, starting with laws that speak up for those who have no voice–the elderly, the unborn, political prisoners, the vulnerable among us–we do know who they are.
Mercy is a Christian value.
We are blessed. The United States is great because it is God blessed. Faith is in our fabric, and freedom to share it is also in our fabric. If I thought Christianity offered a lesser god, instead of the Highest Power in heaven and on earth, I wouldn’t choose to be a Christian. America is great because it is willing to be good. Our laws demonstrate that desire, even our laws that have had to be changed reveal our innate sense that God is watching! We all want to get life right, and do it for our children–and not for ours only–but for the children of the world watching us walk about in freedom, helping our neighbors because we believe again, in God, family and country–in ‘one nation under God’.

Andy Birkey’s offers of an interview with you still stand. If you feel you’ve been treated unfairly, we’d welcome the chance to let you set the record straight.
Comment posted February 9, 2010 @ 5:13 pm
Ms. Anderson is an odd duck, to say the least, but the people treated unfairly by this article are the Republicans of SD50. Where does the MN Independent get off saying she’s “again facing off with Chaudhary,” neglecting to mention that she is not yet the endorsed candidate until far down in the article, when everyone has lost interest in this nonsense? She’s not facing off with Chaudhary until she gets the nomination–which she won’t if there is ANY other candidate. Shoddy reporting at its finest. Minnesota Independent, indeed.
Comment posted February 9, 2010 @ 5:17 pm
Evidently Ms. Anderson is also a firm believer in manifest destiny. One thing wrong that is repeated over time and again in her message is that the Christian God “the God who is with us”, as she writes, is somehow not the same God of the Muslim and those of the Jewish faith. I claim no organized religion as my own any longer, though having been raised as a Lutheran we were taught that God was one and the same no matter what he was called, ie: Allah, Yewah, God = the same higher power. In my opinon I imagine that he doesn’t take sides, especially considering the mess that we’ve all gotten ourselves into these days.
Fundamentalists of any kind scare the begees out of me, including Ms. Anderson.

But it’s in there. Further, whether she gets the nomination or not, Anderson is trying to unseat Chaudhary. “Facing off,” loosely defined.
We’re hoping to interview Bauman here as well.

I love this part : “Christians are definitely allowed to share their faith, it’s required.”
It’s required of people like me to tell how when certain people fall to this excuse to inflict their proselytizing without consent from the victims, it’s a sure sign that somebody should not be allowed anywhere near a position of responsibility, especially in government, and probably not anywhere near children, either.

Why didn’t anyone call her on that and make her state her sources? I’ve checked this out and I can’t find it any where! Did she just make this up? Why are you letting her get away with that? Hold her accountable for her errors – please! I’m so tired of reading fiction!

Fridley has a huge Muslim population, for the republicans to win they are going to have to find a muslim canidate. If Anderson gets the nomination she would have a lot of explaining to do to the muslims in fridley, Which wont be hard for her since many of them fled sharia law. As for her birther views many can overlook that much like many democrat leaning labor voters when faced with the free trade agreements that have gone through despite having democrats in office to stop them. I dont beleive anderson can win in fridley but she is welcome to try.

A book…any book…falls short of the glory of God.
I care not about christianity, muslim, jewish, or other faiths. They all fall short and limit the true nature of that which we call God.
Little people use those books to judge others, most often, wrongly.
Belief in such religious dogma so often limits the true potential of humanity. There is as much hatred in the many books of religion as there is love. Only the blind see otherwise.

Dave,
Both major political parties have gadflies and assorted nuts that attempt to gain their party’s nomination every cycle. Hell, right now, Leslie Davis is attempting to obtain the GOP endorsement for governor – not a snowball’s chance in hell he’ll get it; his views do not reflect those of the GOP in any way, and the GOP has zero responsibility for what he might say or do.
Birkey’s use of the phrase “Facing off” was a major screw up (unwitting or otherwise), both on his part and on the part of his editor for letting it through (if such a piffle as this rag has editors). Leslie Davis has no more chance of “Facing off” against Mark Dayton this fall than Anderson has of “Facing off” against Chaudhary.
The impression that this article wishes to give off is that Anderson is some force in the local GOP scene, ready once again to take on Senator Chaudhary, with the full backing of GOP delegates. We are offered as proof of her prominence and popularity a laundry list of Anderson’s positions and exertions within the GOP. What a joke.
Fridley is GOP backwater; Anderson probably had only a handful of attendees at her precinct caucus, and anyone familiar with politics knows that at that level of the political organization just about any warm body that shows up with a pulse can get elected precinct chair.
She ran for deputy chair of the party. So what? Her antics were well known by that time and she was laughed off the stage.
As for her 2006 endorsement to run against Chaudhary – the delegates made a grave mistake, but in their defense, Anderson’s whacked out views were not known at the time. She was known to be a loose cannon, but not on the level we see today. It was only during and after the race that she let it all hang out, so to speak.
Much to your disappointment, the Anderson mistake won’t be repeated. I doubt that Birkey will write a second article commending SD50 GOP delegates for their wisdom in rejecting Anderson this time around.
Comment posted February 10, 2010 @ 11:49 am
Anderson’s a GOP precinct chair and got the GOP endorsement in ‘06. That’s hardly akin to a bid by Leslie Davis, who’s run under different party banners. But we will be following this race, whoever ends up getting the nomination. As for “facing off” being a “major screwup”: Huh? She wants to go head to head with Chaudhary, so it works for me.

Okay, Paul. CYA.
Comment posted February 10, 2010 @ 3:53 pm
“Hopes to face off” against Chaudhary would have been the proper way to structure that sentence, placing her ambitions in the proper context.
You say that the faulty formulation used by Birkey “works for you”; yeah, I’m sure it does.
Comment posted February 10, 2010 @ 4:40 pm
Thanks for the editing tips, Janie. As for the CYA, did you mean it?
Comment posted February 10, 2010 @ 4:41 pm
BTW – you didn’t quite get the Leslie Davis point. Right now, he’s facing off against a raft of GOP hopefuls for the endorsement. Until Davis obtains the endorsement of the GOP delegates, it would be quite odd to suggest that he is “facing off” against the eventual DFL Gubernatorial candidate. You’d be skipping a crucial step – the actual endorsement. That’s also the position in which Anderson currently finds herself, seeking the endorsement for the right to face off against Chaudhary.
Perhaps you’re under the mistaken assumption that Anderson’s endorsement from 2006 is still in effect. It is not. She is not the currently-endorsed SD50 GOP candidate to face Chaudhary. As of today, there is no endorsed 2010 GOP candidate to face Chaudhary.
She receives no support, financial or otherwise, as a result of her 2006 endorsement. As far as the 2010 endorsement goes, she’s on the same footing as anyone else who wishes to run; she’s not at the front of any imagined line of aspirants.
Her position as a precinct chair is also irrelevant in relation to the SD50 endorsement. It provides her no special standing, no “leg up”, no sort of “pre-approval” for endorsement. Like I said previously, being elected precinct chair in a GOP backwater like Fridley requires little more than a pulse. You want the job? You’re probably going to get it, for what it’s worth (nothing).

Rae ran for chair of the BPOU HD50a, she lost, and it wasn’t even close!
Rae is also permitted to use her first amendment right, however skewed her views or her presentation. The GOP and specificaly the GOP in SD50, can not, and do not, sensor speech or views.
A precinct chair is little more than a block captain in this context. She has no executive vote, chairs no committee and in my view, has no chance of being endorsed.
This is a free and open process and we have taken great pains to do a lot of outreach to every religion, and culture. I feel like I have been personally accused of holding her views, and I am deeply offended!
We have a convention on Thursday the 18th, and THEN we have our endorsing convention on March 20th. I sure hope there is the follow-up on how sane our delegates are! We are far more interested in out-of-control spending, personal freedoms (this includes religous freedom) and the job-killing taxes that are coming our way! The main talk that I heard at caucus was the outrageous waste in government, the high property taxes and the intrusion of government into our lives. Saving souls wasn’t on the ballot.

FYI for Andy B’s readers: Here is the rest of one the quotes that Andy ‘mismanaged’–to set the record straight. It is right below a very PURPOSELY EMBOLDENED TALKING POINT in my blog, stating that “Freedom of worship…” is one of our rights, and it is for all–actually for those not yet citizens as well. They, too, worship as they choose on American soil. Andy might’ve missed that talking point, right there directly adjacent to one of his partial quotes.
see http://www.hartanderson.org
Here is the quote for Andy B: 2-2-10 “Socialized medicine has been a tool of SUBJECTION used in other countries to eliminate privacy and to ignore the despair of some people who don’t count as much as others, and forgetting the phrase [that all], “… are endowed by our Creator with inalienable rights.” So it is easy to forget Who is in charge in America. If God be God, give honor to Whom honor is due. Christians, God asks us to humble ourselves and pray and turn from our wicked ways, so God will hear from heaven and forgive our sins, and heal our land. Second Chronicles 7:14 is not written to unbelievers. Christians could start something good, like healing and repentance for the evil we entertain and endure and express. Turn. Pray. Let’s do our part.
For my friend Laura: You’re right, in part. Saving souls is what Christians would like to see happen, a good thing hopefully included in ‘life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness”. And both our house and our senate candidate [me] spoke at our caucus 2-2-10, and we included quotes from the Bible with values designed to save our culture, if not our souls. But ’soul saving’ is not what politicians can do, or what humans can do, for that matter–it’s what God does. To paraphrase: ‘You can lead a soul to water but you can’t make him drink or think.’ It’s not our job to drink or think for him–it’s his or her choice. A sad comment from scripture states “My people perish for lack of knowledge…” a quote attributed to God, Himself, saying even He will not force or form a relationship between an unwilling human and Himself. Only God can create a newborn believer out of a ‘wannabe’ believer, birthing one who clings to and trusts in Jesus Christ as Savior. [Note: Lee Stroebel, former aethist, "The Case for Christ] Laura asked to get to know God to get her own soul saved–or not. Her choice. I have long really liked, respected and admired Laura too much to “lambast” her partial recall of some local events. She often humbly states she’s ‘a newbie’–not anymore, right Laura? I took time to know her and invited her to run for my house district’s [HD50A] treasurer–for good fiscal reasons. I chaired HD50A from June 2008 to April 2009–long enough to start some activism and reform of our area with an improved constitution. All that while the Republicans here got some unasked for Tea Party type kick in the pants, so to speak! We got into the fray. I can admit apathy abated when I became chair, with some Tea Party help and with Ron Paul’s personal visit. Apathy here continues to be abated, for strong and right reasons, involving more citizens, who are way above average! During my leadership we got the first ’soul’ vetted, funded and elected to the school board in eons…and it was a God-saved soul, too, we noted! Treasurer Laura is a treasure, and has a strong ability to keep our financial records in order. She has every right not to save souls–but she has saved and will save us dollars. True, I was not re-elected to HD50A as chair. I strongly supported another candidate, even though I let my name be placed on the ballot. Placing my name into that mix caused a flurry of involvement–for some reason. We elected a new chair who recently ‘mismanaged’ my blog quotation because he didn’t research the actual quotes given to him by Andy B, apparently. But he’s human, and thoroughly engaged in winning seats in the 2010 election. Our new chair is looking for strong leaders and winners. I say, look my way–I’m betting he votes for me, and that Laura will, too–if they expect to actually win Senate District 50A back for ‘we the people’. The people here pay and pay–and now are also paying attention! One by one we win choose to win seats back, not for the Republicans or the Democrats or the Tea Party, but only for the people of our area–who can believe again in 2010, who will vote to get back some respect “for the people” in Senate District 50.

Rae Anderson is the Republican Party precint chair of ward 1 precint 4 of Fridley. That 1 precint out of 17 precints in HD 50A, which covers Columbia Heights, Hilltop, and part of Fridley. Rae is not the “Republican Party precint chair of Fridley.”
I believe there were 7 people at the caucus for W1 P4. Rae was quite willing to let someone else be precint chair and nobody else was willing.
It can be hard to find people to be candidates. At least we have 2 people willing to run for State Senate.

Huge blocks of text? Check. Crazy fundamentalist ranting? Check. Absolute delusion about the necessity of her unwelcome proselytizing? Check. Complete misunderstanding of the word “Creator” in the constitution? (Seriously lady, they left that one ambiguous on purpose. If they meant “Christian God, Father of Jesus Christ” they would have written that instead) Check.
Conclusion? Bitch is crazy.

Ms. Anderson’s writing reminds me of the labels on the Dr. Bronner’s magic soap bottles” – in style that is. His content actually makes a lot more sense…and you get some good soap inside.
