Yesterday Steve Perry and I ventured over to St. Paul to talk with staff and clients at the Dorothy Day Center, the homeless shelter, drop-in center and emergency foodshelf that sits across the street a few hundred feet from the arena where the GOP’s big swinging trunks will gather next Monday.
We learned that while the center will remain open during the Republican National Convention, it won’t exactly be business as usual. Details, and reactions from some of the people who hang their hats there, in this MnIndy video report.

Instead of wasting bandwidth interviewing homeless guys sporting nice big wrist watches and phat stylz, you should have interviewed “John 'MF' Wayne”.
Hilarious!

TJ Swift's intellectual and spiritual constipation is a fine example of America's sociopaths and obviously a candidate for cool-aid drinking rehab clinics.
Apparently TJ doesn't grasp the fact there are thousands upon thousands of working poor thanks to the last 8 shameful years of this administration's bloating communist economies funding their military spending.
Seems this poster is ripe for the finely honed GOP's propaganda that “America is the greatest nation on earth” . . .so people like TJ can live the delusion that there is no such thing as hunger, job loss, homes lost, medical bankruptcy, or that putting food on your family is a struggle for millions.
The GOP's donors and spenders should clink their cocktail glasses in celebration their propagandists earned their paychecks.
