In a fiery fundraising pitch for the American Conservative Union Strikeforce, Rep. Michele Bachmann asks supporters, “Will you let Barack Obama KILL conservatism?” Calling the president a “political street fighter,” she says his “agenda is a dagger pointed right at the heart of conservatism.”
The fundraising letter, which was sent out in late December, says, “Obama wants to use ACORN to radicalize America because he isn’t interested merely in defeating conservatives… …HE WANTS TO ANNIHILATE US! That’s the purpose behind ObamaCare, too.”
Here’s the full text of the letter:
Dear Fellow Conservative,
Will you let Barack Obama KILL conservatism?
If you’re the type of conservative I trust you are, I know your answer is a resounding “NO!”
Because you and I have our work cut out for us opposing Obama’s outrageous gangster government.
What is happening in Washington right now is BIGGER than FDR’s New Deal or LBJ’s “Great Society”…
…and far more dangerous to our freedoms than both combined!
Obama’s plans will do nothing less than socialize our economy and turn every citizen into a ward of the state.
As a conservative, I’m deeply concerned.
But I have some very big news. Despite what some doom-and-gloomers have been saying, there is still real hope.
And this is why I had to contact you today.
Now I just hope and pray you’ll take the next two minutes to read this letter so I can explain why your help of at least $35 is so urgently needed.
As you know, Barack Obama has embarked on the most radical presidency in America’s history.
Obama is advancing a far-left agenda of Socialized Medicine, government takeover of the private sector, higher taxes, increased welfare spending, censorship of conservative talk radio, and empowerment of radical community groups.
If government grows so vast that it gets its tentacles into every aspect of our lives, the American spirit of independence and responsibility will be BROKEN!
Obama’s socialist agenda is a dagger pointed right at the heart of conservatism. He’s playing for keeps.
Obama is a political street fighter who learned the rules of politics from the Democrats’ Chicago Machine.
Unofficial correspondence. Not printed or mailed at government expense. Paid for and authorized by ACU STRIKEFORCE.
Just consider Obama’s ties to the radical group ACORN.
For years Obama worked with, advised, and even trained ACORN and its volunteers in community agitation.
So close is Obama to ACORN that his presidential campaign relied on it for crucial get-out-the-vote drives to win.
But ACORN is a corrupt group, rotten to the core. It’s been investigated for voter fraud in 14 states and its workers have been caught on tape in 5 separate cities willing to help set up brothels for underage illegal alien child prostitutes.
Yet, Obama has used his enormous power as president to funnel millions of dollars into ACORN’s coffers to strengthen this radical group and his base.
Because Obama sees ACORN as his ideological “shock troops” leading his “revolution.”
Obama wants to use ACORN to radicalize America because he isn’t interested merely in defeating conservatives…
…HE WANTS TO ANNIHILATE US!
That’s the purpose behind ObamaCare, too.
Obama’s goal with ObamaCare is to make every American utterly dependent of Big Brother Government for health care.
Once every American citizen is on the dole of Socialized Medicine, Obama will have enormous power to decide how to “SPREAD THE WEALTH AROUND!”
And by growing government into a LEVIATHAN, he will make small government, pro-family conservatives like you and me politically irrelevant.
Americans will be prevented by Big Government from relying on our own wits, ingenuity, and hard work to take care of ourselves.
This vision for America is my nightmare.
And as long as I have breath in my body, I will fight Obama’s liberal agenda of higher taxes, Socialized Medicine, and funding of radical groups like ACORN.
But the hard truth is that right now there are simply not enough conservatives in Congress to put a full-stop halt to Obama’s socialism – we can only slow him down.
Thankfully, conservative Americans are coming together to stop Obama’s rocket train to socialism.
And today I’m asking you to please join us.
American Conservative Union Strikeforce (ACU STRIKEFORCE) is the group to TAKE ON and TAKE DOWN Obama’s agenda by rebuilding our party and helping elect real conservative candidates to Congress.
ACU STRIKEFORCE doesn’t support just any Republican candidate…
As the political arm of the American Conservative Union, the oldest and most respected conservative grassroots organization in America, ACU STRIKEFORCE is dedicated to electing ONLY rock-ribbed conservatives.
We must fight Obama’s agenda tooth and nail until we beat it at the polls.
And we must win more seats in both the House and the Senate to put the brakes on Obama’s out-of-control spending.
Now I trust you see why this group is of such vital importance. And why after you sign your ACU STRIKEFORCE PLEDGE OF SUPPORT I hope you’ll enclose an urgent contribution of $35, $50, $75, $100, $250, $500, $1,000, or $5,000.
Time is of the essence!
Your immediate support will make a huge difference by helping to strike a severe blow to Barack Obama’s plan to ELIMINATE conservatism – before it’s too late.
As a conservative, I’m sure you agree that there is nothing more important you and I could do at this time.
Please understand, Obama sees himself as a “Reagan-in-Reverse.”
Ronald Reagan’s strong national defense, tax cuts, and support of traditional values not only won the Cold War, ended the seventies’ economic stagflation, and ushered in an era of personal responsibility…
…IT DISCREDITED LIBERALISM FOR A GENERATION!
Obama’s socialist plans are nothing less than an attempt to remake America so completely that conservatives will GIVE UP and GIVE IN to the entire liberal agenda.
I’m not throwing in the towel. I’m energized by freedom-loving citizens like you who are standing up across this nation to stop this socialist agenda.
My friend, in the critical weeks ahead, ACU STRIKEFORCE will be leading the counterattack against Obama’s agenda.
The battle for America’s future is being fought today! Yes, it’s here today that we can take down Barack Obama’s agenda!
But we shouldn’t kid ourselves.
It won’t be easy.
To keep building the type of grassroots network we’ll need – ACU STRIKEFORCE and I must have your help within the next 14 days.
We must help support all the conservative candidates that are in direct opposition to Obama’s socialism, and we must do it now.
If we do this, we can pull the rug of public support right from under Barack Obama – no campaign of charisma can save his agenda!!
That’s why I really hope you will do two things before you do anything else today…
1) Sign and return the ACU STRIKEFORCE PLEDGE OF SUPPORT.
2) Send back an immediate contribution of $35, or even as much as $50, $75, $100, $250, $500, $1,000 or $5,000.
Your help will be put to immediate use as we work to attack directly Obama’s socialist agenda by helping those conservative candidates who are unafraid to speak the truth.
Remember, the more you can help today, the more damage we can do to Barack Obama’s socialist agenda. It’s just that simple.
So please be as generous as possible.
Sincerely,
Michele BachmannP.S. ACU STRIKEFORCE is a unique grassroots group dedicated to stopping Obama from reaching his ultimate goal of remaking America in his socialist image.
The time for you and me is now! So please sign the enclosed ACU STRIKEFORCE PLEDGE OF SUPPORT and send it back with your most generous gift of $35, $50, $75, $100, or even $1,000 or $5,000 today!

Minnesota, PLEASE, you have got to do something about this basket case. She is making your state look really, really foolish and doing so quite often. Are any of you Minnesotans hearing the things she is concocting and saying publicly????? Vote this DINGBAT out of office when the time comes and maybe it will help your image, the one she is completely offending daily. This is your best Representation…..????? BTW…Any one of your 10,000 lakes has more character than she has.
No offense at all to real Minnesotans or the wonderful state, (I have the upmost respect for the Twins organization and the folks there)but her, her rediculous rhetoric and her followers are way, way out there…. HELP AMERICA FROM THE DINGBAT!!!

If, as many posters hope to bring about, Michelle’s Minnesota support begins to dissipate and she fails to win reelection, I will be really disappointed.
Michelle-isms brighten my day. I particular like to watch her deliver her bonbons in person. It’s not just the off-the-wall assessments. It’s that nobody-home look in her eyes.
If Minnesotans do kick her out, maybe she’ll get a daily show on Fox. I’d then be able to get a mega-dose of Michelle.

Is this woman sane? People like her, Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, Glen Beck, etc. are what’s really hurting this country’s economic recovery. When FDR said the only thing we have to fear is fear itself, we found that a positive attitude and sacrifice is what it took to climb out of the depression. People like those I named above are all about promoting fear, negative thinking, obstructionism, and general discord, which is doing tremendous harm to this country. If the only way Republicans can get attention is this way….are they good for this country? You decide, but I don’t think when a political party is more concerned with power than in doing what’s best for THEIR country, it’s time they were rejected.

Personally, I would be all in favor of “ANNIHILATING” conservativism and conservatives in general. But unfortunately I don’t think Obama sees it that way.

While I am a staunch conservative, I believe this rhetoric is a tad over the top. Obama isn’t trying to annihilate us; he’s trying to maneuver us into position to align us with Mexico and Canada. That is what the health care bill is all about….equalizing the US with the standard of care received in Mexico and Canada. Canada has “universal health care” while Mexico has a combination of private insurance and “one-payer”(government)coverage. Just because the MSM doesn’t report on the progress of the SSP(Security and Prosperity Treaty..aka North American Union) that Bush instigated and Obama continues doesn’t mean it has been abandoned. The citizens of America need to get to the bottom-line of the “why” things are being done instead of just screeching from “right” to “left”. If it wasn’t Obama doing it, it would be the next President. The difference with Obama is that he is so obviously a serious left-leaning politician that it can’t help but be noticed. His “ramming” tactics on the bills brought before him shows the trend of a dead-line that he has to meet….not for the American people but for his backers.
Thank you for letting me have my say.

Bachman is a corporatist who is masquerading as a conservative. She emotionally manipulates her supporters by defining herself as an ideologue conservative, when she is not. Her actions belie the definition of conservative, but are very consistent with corporatism. That she is able to persuade her voter base to support her as a “conservative” is a testament to her ability to manipulate and deceive, not a promotion of the principles of conservatism.

Comment posted February 5, 2010 @ 10:15 am
What is up, Minnesota? You had the opportunity to send this nut job packing last election, and you sent her BACK! Do you REALLY think that SHE represents YOU? What are the rest of us supposed to think about YOU in that case?
Personally, after the last 30 years, I think that most conservatives SHOULD be put up against the wall. What have they give to the vast majority of the American people? Lost jobs, lost wages, education too expensive to teach your kids past 9th grade, spying on citizens lives and laws for US and none for the upper 2%. GREAT!
Conservative values? What are those? Destroying your own country so that no one else can succeed? Spying on your own citizens? Keeping people down rather than actually allowing them what they need to survive? More expense for the lower economic classes and more money for the already WAY TOO RICH? Conservatives have NO values other than their own greed and selfishness. Bachmann is a PERFECT example of that.
Send this woman home. She is making the whole state of MN look foolish and stupid.

I feel sorry for Shelly. She has become a characature of herself over the years. With seven PR people on her Congressional staff, it’s pretty clear that self-promotion is her primary job objective. She has plenty of time for FoxSnooze and right-wing rant-radio appearances, writing BS “the sky is falling” columns and presiding at phony, staged “protest” meetings. In all cases, she comes off looking dumb as a box of rocks. In other words, she’s Sarah Palin without a fictional autobiography, book tour or lucrative FoxSnooze contract . . . yet.

Her main campaign is based on fear and hysteria. She is batty and most of us who are informed about her, get hemriods when she appears in any shape or form.
Comment posted February 5, 2010 @ 10:47 am
Our founding fathers were insane too – even willing to die to assure the freedoms liberals take for granted and are so ready to surrender. Michele Bachmann says what she believes and is willing to fight for her beliefs – unlike most politicians. At least you know what you get when you vote for her.
Obama is a lier and has never run a private business for profit. He and most democrats are clueless as to what is required for economic vitality. Michele Bachmann and her husband run a successful business that provide real jobs – not jobs fabricated via public debt and taxpayer money.
Democrats want to take us down a path of entitlements based on enormous debt that will ultimately destroy our currency, economy, and liberty. You cannot systemically borrow your way to prosperity.
GO Michelle – keep up the great work!!

She is nuts!! We are in the worst economic crisis in decades. Washington should focus on domestic issues and American people. We spend millions of dollars overseas to provide aid to poor countries . And, yet when Washington wants to spend money domestically to benefit our own people Michelle Bachman and her friend’s in talk shows condemn it. Why? What’s their dog in this fight – special interests? Lobbyist’s money?

WHY do the so-called “conservatives” keep invoking Reagan?
He raised taxes to pay for socialized medicine; proposed and signed into law several of the largest tax increases in history; spoke in favor of Medicare during the presidential debate with Carter (claiming he was never really against it); spent record amounts of money with record setting deficits…
on and on ad nauseum
and don’t go and say he had a Dem congress… the PRESIDENT writes and sends the budget to congress
he did do the largest tax cut in history but that was for the top 5%–a REDISTRIBUTION of wealth!

Why won’t the media say anything about Bachmann’s continually extremist, eliminationist rhetoric? Why do the media just keep abetting her and looking the other way. If and when someone even more disturbed that her decides to harm other people based on rhetoric like hers, will they claim to be “shocked” or “surprised,” or ask, “How could we have known”? She has the right to rant like a madwoman, but at the same time, people need to call her out on it. Her and the rest of the GOP, who keep doing this over and over. The parallels with Weimar Germany aren’t just minimal any more.

She was elected because she lives in a gerrymandered conservative district. That’s it.
Actually, when the new census figures come out, MN is set to lose one Rep. in the House. That means the districts will be redrawn. If Bachmann survives it, I’ll eat my hat.

The biggest threat to conservatism was and remains the GOP and Bush. Look at the “fiscal conservative” track record of the last 40 years. Look at the private sector job creation over the last 40 years. For all the bluster and rhetoric that comes out of the mouths of mental midgets like Bachmann and Tancredo, the party of fiscal conservatism and capitalism really does an awful job at both.
Comment posted February 5, 2010 @ 11:18 am
Rep. Bachmann is batty, nuts — anything you can name. BUT — the stuff she’s saying, along with former Rep. Tancredo, and many Teabaggers — is catching on. This stuff is dangerous to the continued existance of this nation. While it’s easy to dismiss her as the raving lunatic that she is, we need to take these attitudes very seriously – they are gaining favor.

This woman is completely nutty. ACORN hasn’t been in the picture for over a year, and it wasn’t, as Bachmann would have us believe, Obama’s personal weapon of destruction. She is making those of us in this region of the country look stupid for electing her. All she’s doing anyway is auditioning for a spot on Fox. I’m hoping we don’t send her back to Congress, just like DC kept re-electing Mario Barry despite his record of stupidity.

The thing to keep in mind is that these fantasies tell you a lot about the thinking of the person who is speaking. This gives you an idea of what she and her cohorts would do if they ever got into power. She (and people like Palin) are worse than crazy – they are positively dangerous.

The older I get, the more amazed I am at how tens of millions of Americans are actually devolving intellectually, socially and politically. Conservatism has become a sci-fi caricature of how a species can implode. Bachmann is the symptom. The right wing propaganda machine is the vehicle. It remains to be seen if fear, ignorance, and greed — the three legs of the stool of modern American conservatism — can drive the country to the brink of Germany, circa 1930, but the ingredients are there…

Is ANY of this true? Of course not. But, as recent polling of Republican likely voters indicates, the Michell Bachmann’s (and Rush Limbaugh’s (sic) Glen Beck’s etc.) of the world have convinced their followers that is it is. This is a sad state of affairs, is it not?

Agree with you Terry. Bachmann will use any tactic, spew whatever hateful message she wants in order to rev up “the base” and demonize the President. Her vile proclamations are insulting to all Americans and she deserves not seat at the political table, nationally or in in Minnesota. Also, somewhat agree with Trevor Bauknight, “I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone so disconnected from reality have so much power and get so much screech-time on the airwaves.” I think Bill O’Reilly, Rush Linbaugh and Glen Beck have demonstrated that millions will believe lies if they fit with their own values and are repeated enough. Agree with you, Larkhill… “fear, ignorance, and greed — the three legs of the stool of modern American conservatism — can drive the country to the brink of Germany, circa 1930, but the ingredients are there.”
Comment posted February 5, 2010 @ 12:58 pm
Here is the deal:
All this outbursts is not to protect “conservatism”. folks like Glenn, Rush, Michelle, Tancredo and others just simply hate Obama. That is it. It irritates them to see a person of minority background, educated and articulate and who actually wants to do something on issues that have been plaguing our conuntry for so long is in the White House. They can diagree with his policies. But this is not disagreement but pure simple hatred. That is it.
But if this is how majority of our country thinks then it deserves leaders like Michelle and so be it. democracy is all about people deciding their own country’s fate. And so we will deserve the fate we bring upon ourselves.

Can the GOP get any nuttier than it is with Beck, Tancredo, Hannity, etc? Do serious Repubs really agree with all their drivel? We are seeing the end of the Republic because this country lacks maturity and purpose anymore.

The problem with Americans is that so many of them are gullible. You have televangelists selling religion, telemarketers selling “purified” water and now politicians selling themselves as fighters against mythical plots. You can slam the GOP all you like, but why does no-one ask the real question – why do so many Americans actually believe this sort of thing or not ask tougher questions of the snake-oil salesmen they come across? After less than two years, the voters are ready to put Republicans back in power even though their policies would likely re-devastate the country. It’s shocking beyond belief. When there’s no collective memory, no education, no knowledge of history, no fact and only opinion then the cycle just repeats itself. When you can choose the channel to select your truth, base an argument on “I heard that…”, when the televangelists can fly around in private jets and their followers don’t grow suspicious, when you can shout instead of listening to things you don’t want to hear, when half of the Congress are basically lobbyists for big interests pretending to do the people’s business while pushing policies that help the rich and the corporations… Let’s hope it’s not a downward spiral. I wish America well, but I fear for it more deeply every day. Greatness is not guaranteed.

To date, not one web site has come up with credible evidence that the Lucas Smith Kenyan Birth Certificate (KBC) is not an authentic and legal copy of the original.
The Natural Born Citizen (NBC) issue does not depend on Obama being foreign born. It revolves around both of his parents being American Citizens at the time of his birth.
Orly Taitz has just filed ‘Quo Warranto’ on Obama in Washington DC and Obama’s attorney general Eric Holder has refused to respond!
Instead, both Obama and Holder have attempted to flood the courts with terrorist trials, in direct contradiction to their duty of placing national security ahead of politics – or worse, as part of a cover-up for the greatest ‘Federal Reserve / Wall Street / Goldman Sachs’ heist in American history. The endless debt imposed on the world by the would-be NWO is being exposed and they appear to be running for cover.
Interestingly, as things begin to turn around, Obama is suddenly finding his ‘faith’ again?!
Ironic, since he has proven beyond a doubt that he has indeed chosen to stand with the Muslims and Radical Islam, as he promised he would, throughout his first year in office.
This is what the Founding Fathers meant by ‘divided loyalty’ and is clearly one of the best examples of the high crimes of ‘treason’ and ‘mass deception’ in world history.
This will all get resolved in a peaceful and legal manner soon enough, God willing. The United States will suffer great financial pain (as will most of the freedom loving nations around the world), but it will emerge once again as the ‘exceptional’ leader of the free world it was, and has always been destined to be.
Thank you Pamela Geller, thank you Sarah Palin, thank you Michele Bachmann, and thank you Orly Taitz.
The story of Geert Wilders is being ignored by the American media! Why???
The story of Sweden’s Kent Ekeroth is also important. His speech from November of 2009 about the Islamization of Europe should be heard by concerned Americans, in light of Geert Wilder’s ‘Trial of the Century’.
American women will the salvation of this country, but the courage of these two men should not be underestimated. One is from the European right and the other from the European left, yet both are in remarkable agreement about Islam. This is a lesson that American politicians will soon find impossible to ignore.

The woman maybe crazy as can be, but she’s managed to get thousands of people to vote for and believe in things that are clearly against their own economic interests. She’s voted against legislation to help people in foreclosure even though the 6th district has the highest number of foreclosures in state! People may believe in what she’s saying, but what she’s saying is not what she’s doing, she’ll make the rich richer and the poor poorer. God help us because she sure won’t.

Good day everyone. I’m in Illinois, and God knows we have our share of nut job politicians. Ours are the good old fashioned corrupt kind, yet Bachmann is at another level/universe entirely.
For the few that have agreed with her here, may I ask the following questions? 1) Are you upset that her family received $250k in ’socialized’ farm subsidies, or do you conveniently overlook that? 2) Anyone with even a ‘history 101′ knowledge knows that terms like facist and socialst aren’t appilicable to the President. Those are terms for lazy-thinking people to spew their hatred and ignorance. Seriously, are any of you History or Social Studies teachers? 3) Google ‘North American Union’ and you’ll find that Bush and Condi Rice were pushing that concept. The person here who said that the President is trying to put us on a par with Canada and Mexico is nuts. 4) Under Reagan and Bush II we incurred greater debts and deficits than any time in our history. 5) Since you’re so against government interference, you probably return your Social Security checks with ‘thanks but no thanks’ notes, right? You don’t use Medicare, right? You don’t feel our Vets should have top-notch care for their service, right? 6) Were you so vocal about government spending under Bush II when he and your fellow conservatives passed tax cuts for the wealthy, passed a Medicare expansion program, and ran two wars WITHOUT paying for any of that?
Last, it’s so hypocritical that you conservatives call yourselves ‘Christian’ and pro-life, yet you wantingly and willingly deny people (once their outside the womb, that is), access to quality health care and education and job opportunities. You want to pillage and plunder the earth yet forget that the earth is a gift from God and that we should all be good stewards of it. You fear monger by using–among other things–racial inuendos abou the President. What Would Jesus Do indeed! You’re hypocritical, sad, pathetic, unChristian, unAmerican and dangerous.
Last, when was the last time a repub/conservative U.S. President and Congress did anything to improve the lot of working Americans?

Scotty got $450,000 in campaign donations from big banks. Anyone who gets that kind of funding from big banks isn’t looking out for you and me. But that’s what Republicans do. I’m a psychiatrist and I applaud Michelle Bachmann’s success in gaining attention and political power.
It is high time again that the seriously deranged should remind the sane, rational and fair members of society (the S,R&F) just what they (ie the deranged) are capable of.
The S,R&F keep forgetting and need to be reminded again and again. This need for a reminder has recurred world-wide throughout history and has been supplied by people such as Nero, Caligula, Genghis Khan, Hitler, Stalin and Pol Pot, to mention just a few. Interestingly, the orchestrators of these reminders appear as leaders of both the right and the left.
Some years ago I asked one of my psychiatric trainees to observe the patients in a long-stay ward and to report her observations to me after a month.
At the end of that time she said to me: “They are
inside-out people. They are crazy on the outside and sane on the inside, while we are crazy on the inside and sane on the outside.” How right she was! So many of us are “crazy on the inside”, especially when experiencing times of change, threat and hardship. Right now the world is experiencing such times – with the threat of Gobal Warming and the hardship experienced in the US, where the mismanagement under the Bush administration has left the economy in disarray with a record-breaking deficit and an economic collapse.
So many people now are understandibly “crazy on the inside” that it is not surprising that the “crazy on the outside” Michele Bachmann appeals to their “crazy insides”.
It seems that a growing proportion of the American people, who have not yet had a good dose of what a mad totalitarian government can do, are now ready for a “lesson” that they will remember for a generation or two.
Remember, the “crazies” seize power under all disguises that can include “freedom, control, conservatism, socialism, nationalism, globalism etc” The label does not matter, only the crazy lust for power that is driven by ignorance, fear, hatered and greed matters, because it provides an enormous, emotional energy or “drive”.
Phenomena such as Michele Bachmann and Ms Palin make me fear for America and the world. They also make me admire Obama, who, despite the constant obstacles that are put before him and the hatered that is directed at him, continues steadfastly to do the best that he can for the people of his country and for the world, though what he can do is curtailed and sometimes crippled by the forces that are affecting the minds of Americans at present.
Do you know the story of the boy who saved Holland by keeping his finger in a hole in the dyke all night? What Obama is doing is like that boy keeping his finger in the dyke all night with mad dogs biting him and pulling him away from the dyke.

Eventually the follow-the-leader net nuts will find that socialism shrinks the economic pie, leaving the average slice smaller no matter how the pie is sliced. Why struggle and strive to pay for college if the rewards down the road are expropriated. Why strive to become the best to be productive.I look forward for that day of individual freedom, opportunity, and self-governnment reasserting itself in our country.

Mrs. Bachman would like to say that Obama, the democratically elected leader of our country, is coming up with extreme radical, bizarre, lunatic ideas. All of his Ideas. She does this to raise money. The unfortunate problem for Mrs. Bachman is these “radical” ideas have been discussed for some time and none of them are so out of the box that you could call them bizarre. Most of these have actually been proposed by right wing conservatives at one point or another in our history. When Obama spoke before the GOP it could not have hurt the GOP worse. It showed that these are discussions and deliberations. Nothing more. To Mrs. Bachman, if Obama helped a little old lady accross the street, she would look at it and try to find a way to say he did it to rob the woman or take her money or take her down the wrong street. She could always argue that it is better for the woman to try to get accross the street by herself. That is a valid argument. a real discussion. But Mrs. Bachman feels she needs to create hate and fear in order to defeat our president.

This Rep. is clearly crazy and obviously knows her “base”– and if she is in any way representative of what people really believe, the U.S. is in a lot of trouble. No wonder we’re losing our place as a leading nation. We’re becoming a nation of ignorant, gun-carrying, bible-thumping xenophobes. You do not need to be a Christian (or white) to be an American.

You gotta love Michelle, she is the anti-Franken. I hope she gets relected, then runs for senate and defeats either Klobuchar or Franken
After i read above ,,now i see just how delusional the right wing really is.1. They dont listen and participate in a meaningful way, well maybe they will when their mugs are on the tv stuff coming out,but to even say she could beat Klobuchar or Franken,,what r u smoking,oh that’s right the Gov. vetoed your med marijuana card,so youre not smoking nothing, your loss.Find reality

Wow, she is starting to sound like the extremists in the middle east. “If you’re not a christian and don’t think exactly like I do, then you are a servant of satan”! That is what I hear every time she opens her mouth!

As funny as Michele is, I got to hand it to her supporters.
At least Michele never tries to justify her crazy beliefs, because you can’t. She just farts out the wacko and lets the smell spread around.
But her sheeple get on here and try to justify her statements, resulting in some very very funny stuff.
So Michele, you are funny, but your supporters take comedy to a whole new level. Its like watching an episode of “My Name is Earl”.

Huh sarah you really need to start watching some history channel and science channel and reading something other than conspiracy theory texts… What a comlete nutjob! I would ridicule MN but we have Rick Perry here in Texas who is equally as ignorant. Gotta love America!

Michelle Bachman seems to be mentally ill. She bold face lies about events and history. She stated that Nancy Pelosi should be impeached for using a no vote ploy to pass health care and stated that Dennis Haster, former R speaker of the house, would not be allowed to get away with that type of ploy.
What the brilliant MS. Bachman did not state is that Haster used the ploy 100 times as speaker of the house to ram through R policies.
This lady is a certified joke.

Michelle Bachmann is a bird-brain. And anyone who likes her must have an insatiable appetite for bird droppings!

I’m not from Minnesota. So I’m asking; what the does the state see in this bat shit dangerous talking woman? She’s cut from the exact same cloth of Glenn Beck. When she talks dangerously, I don’t exactly hear her republican colleagues ask her to tone it down, dial back or refrain from using such language. And she talks like this A LOT; on Fox News Channel (that’s her natural inhabitant), on Chris Matthew’s Hardball and before the cameras when she’s giving speeches. As I see it her and Beck are part of the daily fear mongering that comes from her party.
