New Zogby Numbers – Klobuchar up by 7.5, Pawlenty and Hatch Tied

WSJ/Zogby is out this morning with a new round of Battleground polling. The poll shows Amy Klobuchar with a 50.2-42.7 lead over Mark Kennedy, and Mike Hatch virtually tied with Tim Pawlenty, 45.0-44.9.

Examining the pollster-specific trends, it’s worth noting that this is the first time Zogby has shown Amy Klobuchar breaching 50%, while their Kennedy number is still mired below 43%. Nominal upticks for both gubernatorial candidates still indicate a deadlock in that race – recount anyone? This one will go down to the wire.

While Kennedy’s echo chamber may hoot and holler over the “super-liberal
