Bachmann’s political director leaves, joins Emmer campaign

Jack Tomczak, Rep. Michele Bachmann’s political director, is leaving her campaign after two years to join state Rep. Tom Emmer’s campaign for governor, Tomczak announced on Facebook Friday.
He writes that he “would like to thank the activists of Minnesota’s 6th Congressional District. It has been a wonderful two years working for Congresswoman Bachmann and getting to know all of you. Today is my last day with Bachmann for Congress and tomorrow is my first day with Emmer for Governor. If you like Michele, you’ll love Tom!”
Bachmann recently hired former Republican Party of Minnesota chair Ron Carey to be her chief of staff. The national press have made note of high turnover among Bachmann’s staff.

Jack and Tom appear to have a man crush in that photo. I hope Michele doesn’t know about this.

Karl,
I agree wholeheartedly. I hope the DFL will run this over and over.
If you like Michele, you’ll love Tom.
