You mention that 60 votes are “required” in order to get anything passed in the Senate. I wish you would also mention that this is the case only because Republicans are filibustering every bill. For most of its history, the Senate has operated by majority rule (not super-majority), with the occasional tie-breaking vote cast by the Vice President.

Your description makes the 60 vote threshold sound like the normal state of affairs. It is not.

there is nothing a consumer protection agency could do that a banker couldn’t undo with a few added rules and hidden finance charges. forget not the quote “let me run a nations money, and I care not who writes its laws…”

end the fed. the ibf, the world bank, and put an end to the tyranny of monied interests against the people (us)
