Proverbs 3:5-6 – Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not into your own understanding; In all your ways, acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path

Discrimination is a two-way street, and so is love. Why do we discriminate more than we love? I am a Christian, and I have been taught that homosexuals are not/ can't be Christians, but I do not believe that.

I believe that everyone has his or her own struggle, and we should be helping build one another up, instead of helping break one another down.

Before I run on too long, I urge you to think of others as a fellow inhabitant of this earth. For society's sake, it makes more sense for men to be with women in order to procreate, but I am not God and I will not judge. I think marriage should be between a man and a woman as ordained by the LORD, and that is MY opinion!! To each his own [opinion].

Even Jesus chilled with the society-labeled "lowliest" of the community, so let's follow his example and work to improve this world. There are bigger problems out there, honey!

A wise man once said that all men [and women :) ]were created equal…

I totally agree with Tyler on this one, people are people and we all should just get along. Besides, the church had nothing to with marriage until a thousand years ago when the Catholic church (after the fall of the Roman empire) decided that marraige was a sacred sacrement. I understand if people find it unnatural for same sex people to be together again people are people but what gets me angry really is when narrow minded anti-gay activists start blablling but have no idea what their talking about and are just talking out of hate. What reallyt made me mad was one of the comments that White said “gay males have more STD’s than any body because they sleep with 100′s of people”!?!? Ok, just because your a homosexual does not make you a professional prostitute! And to make fun of STD’s is just wrong is soooo many number of ways. If this is true where the hell is the precentage where’s the madical status on this stuff? I want numbers! And sorry about my comment on prostitute’s its just a profession and you are a person as well who is a master or the fields of pleasure. Also that whole fake disease thing? Whats up with that? If your a person of a high status in the court or whatev why would you mention something like that? It only makes you look stupid. I am a 17 year old girl and i think that Whites doesn’t know what she is talking about and that people should have the right to be together. Back around before the civil war it was ilegal in some states for blacks to even get married yet they do now and it hasn’t changed marriage at all. Think about it!

I am a 17 year old student on the border of minnesota and the president of my high school G.S.A. does anyone else find Whites statement hypocritical after all we the LGBT community are fighting for the same rights the African-american community was during the civil rights movement, to be honest if we don’t deserve rights neither do they we are who we are we can not change our sexuality at will, and we are no different from anyone else. I am a gay teenager and I’m proud of it! We honestly shouldn’t be listening to the ranting hysterics of opposing veiws just because they don’t agree with the LGBT lifestyle, nor should they be making up false statistics about it. Personally if you arn’t gay what does it matter if LGBT’s get married or not it doesn’t affect you or your life unless you make it. . . which is exactly what is going on know! Think about it I have more common sense and maturity than most of these high-up government officals that have been in office how long? Think about it!

This woman is ignorant. To be so lacking in compassion for fellow-human beings is really sad. And to reduce their desire for marriage to a sexual thing only, is more sad, and also ridiculous. It’s not about sex! The gay community can have sex! No one stops them. This is about EQUALITY. Ms. White should understand that. I’m not interested in representation from anyone who can’t get that basic distinction.

They don’t even mention when she went on to describe the mechanics involved in anal sex. It played over and over on our radio stations here so texans could laugh at her. Gay folk and black civil rights are apples and oranges. Being gay is a life style decision, just like being straight is. Make no mistake about that. Being black and not being allowed to vote, go to certain schools and restaurants, get good jobs and oh yeah being hung by your neck in a F$%^ing tree is a civil rights issue and no comparison whatsoever.

Stop comparing the two, we live in a country where we decide what we want and as a whole we don’t want it…stop forcing the issue or leave the United States if you don’t like what “We the People” stand for. It’s not time yet for that.
