Stop the race baiting! None of this is about race. We live in a country where everyone has a chance to make a good life for themselves. The REAL issue is whether we want the government to take over what happens to our bodies, not to mention one sixth of the economy and bankrupting the country!
Imagine your doctor’s office run by the IRS. If this sounds like a good idea, you need psychiatric help!

Whoa…Bachmann is a racist? Why because she is making the stand for the people against PBO? It’s about time that we have someone who is not afraid to make this stand.

This health care “bill” is crazy…yes, I agree something should be done to reform the process but…NOT THIS. Bring it back to the table and actually show the people what is going on.

Obama, Pelosi and Reid are snake oil peddlers. That is not health care. Their cure-all did nothing to lower unemployment. Obamacare has no ingredient label and if it did those with the power to approve it, have not read it, and if they did, they would not understand it. WHY, would I want someone who endorses remedies that have not worked before, trying to cure my health care? If you would then you are a fool and need protection from snake oil peddlers.

The wealthy can find tax shelters, the poor can suck off the public teet, but the avaerage hard working honest citizen gets neither.
Remember, you can’t let a good crisis go to waste… So let’s just allow the burocrats to keep dividing and concouring ALL OF US ?!?!

In an age of near dead morals and individual responsability and accountability, is it a wonder why we are in this “PC” (politically correct) insane age we live in?
As long as we can blame someone else and be lazy… Hey, I deserve all I can grab. Right? WRONG!
Lets hold our public officials accountable and get back to our founding principles.

I’m so tired of idiots on both side of this debate spewing the same talking points and slurs at the other side. Just because I don’t like THIS bill, doesn’t mean I don’t want healthcare reform. However this is not reform this is an entirely new system that will destroy the quality of health care in this nation, and guess what, it’s not going to reduce the costs at all. Many people are tired of the Dems marching the 11 year old up to the microphone so she can tug on the heart strings of the American people with her sad sad story, and people are just as tired of conservative rhetoric declaring that private business is the only way to do things.

My mother is from England, my grandfather died in their public healthcare system. In one night during a visit to the U.S. my grandmother was seen, diagnosed, and treated for a simple issue she’d been trying to get diagnosed and treated for over a year in England. So don’t tell me how great a public system is, and please don’t insult my intelligence by saying we have to pass this bill in order to find out what’s in it. We know what is in it; it hasn’t changed since it passed in the senate.

If this bill was truly a reform bill with the support of the people, it wouldn’t require all of the underhanded political tricks to try and get it passed. Yes we all know that underhanded political tricks are the norm in Washington, and part of the problem is we’ve come to expect this behavior and accept it. In the case of this bill though, we’re seeing stuff we’ve never seen. Really you want to call me a racist for standing against a bill I believe to be detrimental to our society, but you’re going to let a few politicians decide to throw out the law and “DEEM” a bill as having been voted on and passed.

Right now I see Democrats doing everything they can to pass a bill that is full of BS (I.E. cornhusker kickbacks, and Louisiana purchase) If one of their schemes to get it passed is blocked they find another shady way to do it the next day. Perhaps if they listened to the people they’d scrap the bill, create a new one that actually focuses on reforms that will reduce costs, and leave out the bribes. If at that point the republicans don’t sit down to help construct a bill then we’ll vote them out of office too. It’s too late for the current Democratic politicians, their arrogance has been duly noted by the people THEY WORK FOR, and we’ll be voting them out of office as soon as possible.

Actually, people may not want THIS health care plan, but they do overwhelmingly want reform (with the public option included, polls show that the numbers are highly in favor of this bill). And it’s not “government-run” health care that is bankrupting countries, it’s “health care” that’s costing them. In fact, with emergency room use, bankruptcies, and all the other fails of our current system, NOT reforming health care in the USA will cost much more than reforming it. So why is this even a question? We must fix it. And this is just a start.

And as far as Bachmann’s racism is concerned, she has not once ever condemned the racist hatemongerers who bring their little grammatically incorrect signs to her rallies. She INCITES hatred by riling up the unfortunate people who are not able to think critically about the unsubstantiated “facts” she mentions in her little stories. Every time she opens her mouth, she manages to further embarrass her district.
