Clark sends out new mailer in race against Bachmann

Sen. Tarryl Clark has a new mailer out in the 6th Congressional District that aims at wooing DFL activists. “Washington isn’t working for us and neither is Michele Bachmann,” it reads. “We need leadership that creates jobs and opportunity, not headaches and headlines,” the mailer says of Rep. Michele Bachmann.
Clark’s piece follows literature by Dr. Maureen Reed, who is also vying for the DFL endorsement to take on Bachmann this fall.
Clark’s piece touts her experience in the district and attacks Bachmann for not doing enough for constituents. See full-size scans of the literature at OutState Politics.

If Ms. Clark is for Single Payer Health Care, then I will support her.
Free health care, along with a guaranteed living wage for everyone, will be a right in this country.

Yeah, they like to give hard working peoples money away to people who do not earn a living wage. It’s called redistribution of wealth. I would like to keep what I earn, and you can have what YOU earn. And healthcare is not a right. However, I agree in sentiment partially with you. The rapacious insurance companies who have destroyed the healthcare system through government intrusion into market forces. I am certain that more government intrusion will fix it.

if a man gets your money, and uses it for fancy clubs with strippers, you ought be mad
but if a man gets your money, and uses it so his child can become well, and that child would otherwise not recover, is that a wealth redistribution that is so onerous, so evil?
