From boxing ring, Bachmann decries ‘pantywaist Republicans’

bachmannboxingRep. Michele Bachmann entered a boxing ring in Duluth Saturday to speak at the Win Back Washington rally, a Tea Party–inspired campaign event. She told the audience that Democrats were fabricating incidents of aggression by anti-health reform protesters and issued a challenge to moderate Republicans to move out of the GOP.

Event organizer Corinda Horton introduced Bachmann: “I am so excited to have her here. This is our boxing ring and [we are excited] to have her here to fight for our country in our boxing ring.”

To that Bachmann said, “It doesn’t get better than speaking inside a boxing ring.” She later added, “We gotta duke it out between now and November and we will turn this country around in November.”

She chastised Democrats for passing health care reform and put moderate Republicans on notice.

“On the Republican side, there is no time and no patience for pantywaist Republicans. No pantywaist Republicans. No wussie Republicans,” she said. “We need Republicans with a spine who will tell it like it is.”

She insinuated that Democrats made up stories of racial invectives and spitting in order to paint the Tea Party movement as racists.

“They were smeared by the Democrats this week. You may have heard where Democrats said they were called the n-word — which of course would be wrong — but nobody has any record of it,” she said. “They said they were spat upon, no one saw it. I walked right through the gauntlet of where they were; no one saw it.”

(Even Fox News admits that people saw it.)

“We need to call this for what it is. They want to say that you are the ones that are wrong because you don’t love and appreciate the government takeover of health care,” she added.

Here’s full video of the Duluth event:

Keep it up Ms. Bachmann, YOU’VE put yourself in very difficult position for your upcoming re-election attempt. And you’re not going to win.

A cheap political stunt from someone (and a party) who only knows how to distort, demean and degrade. Priceless.

pantywaist Republicans

Ahh… for those halcyon days of yore when gay was called pantywaist.

How charming of her to use a thesaurus of classic bigotry.

Why can’t someone put a gag in her mouth. She offends every person who needs help.

Free health care is to be a right in the USA. There is no reason it should not be. Tax every last dollar out of the pockets of the Republi-thugs if you need to. I don’t care about them, I only care about me and the rest of the people like me.

Pensito Review has a video showing the spitting incident. A reporter from CNN verified the spitting and the use of the “N” word. Being a person of color myself and one who started life during segregation in America, I believe it happened because it has happened to me, and I wasn’t bothering a soul. The people who have spat on me and used the “N” word toward me did it only because I have more melanin in my skin than they had, and they didn’t want an African-American kid walking on the sidewalk in front of their houses, walking through “their parks”, and “invading” their schools.

Obama is sentencing the elderly to an early death and people are complaining about name calling? What a bunch of babies! Grow up.

Not all of Fox News is admitting there’s video. I hear that claim that there’s no evidence repeated tonight on O’Reilly. Here’s the video: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/03/28/congressman-spit-on-by-te_n_516300.html

Michele Bachmann is a habitual liar and a “christian.” I don’t know how she squares that. Tells you a lot about her religion – if she even practices it anymore except for political purposes. With “christians” like her, I’ll take a humane rabid atheist any day.

Wow… as a native Minnesotan, I am constantly amazed and embarrassed by this person. She is a shrill hate machine and needs to be voted out.

Even a trixxy tea partier can’t spit while he is yelling. And look at Cleaver as he nears ol’ yeller. He’s the trixxy one. I bet he’s done this a few times before.

Gee…better tell the FBI that they imagined the anti-government militia types’ plot to kill policemen as agents of US government…and those dozen or so wussy Democratic lawmakers imagined their offices were vandalized after the Alabama wingnut, Mike Vanderboegh, told his followers to “Break their windows. Break them NOW.” And they invented the death threats they received that were played over and over again on TV News??

For entertainment, Mike Vanderboegh’s blog is quite fascinating…and he even debunks a couple of conspiracy theories about Obama!!

Those of you who think that the vandalism didn’t take place haven’t paid attention. There are plenty of pictures and evidence and quite honestly, you just don’t want to believe it.

It pains me to see so many people minds, not use them. There are so many avenues now that you can get neutral information to make your decisions without having to watch Fox news, or any other news station for that matter. If you watch, or hear something – go to good resources and read the bills that are in the process of making into law.
It is really easy to do that now, instead of listening to any left or right leaning station.
Bachmann’s information is not based on any real information, and it pains me to see a woman not even do the homework on what she, as a Senator working and getting paid with our tax dollars, does. So doesn’t care to do the work she should do as a member public service. She has not the fortitude, or common scense to do anything but cheerlead on bad information. Minnesota has never been an extremist State on politics, and now we have someone using our money to travel into districts and other states to spread so much bad information that it makes you ill. It corrupts the minds and souls of our poeple.

I urge everyone who is truely interested in knowing the facts of what is really going on, to do their homework on real information. You won’t get it from Bachmann.

Bachmann has an unusual ego if she inists that congressional colleagues are the ones lying about being spat on (i saw a replay of the video on msnbc) or being called the n-word (heard by several credible witnesses, including capitol police.

Whom to believe – Bachmann or dozens of credible witnesses?

Im glad we have a brave Senator like Michelle Bachman.I love the peacenick libs and their rookie insults. They actually believe that the democratic party really cares about them as they reach deeper into their wallets.Insulting people who have a different view is a genetic trait of todays dems.I dare anyone to prove anything Michelle said in this video is a lie.Cant be done…

Mill,
If there are credible witnesses that have proof, why have’nt they collected the $100,000.00 reward for that proof? I would think most could use the money.

Oddly enough, you didn’t provide any “real information” either.

Would you mind sharing a link to the video in which we can see someone “spitting” on the congressman?

Can you provide a link to the video in which you can hear someone shouting nigger at them?

Why haven’t the congressmen released their own video?

Why have the parties involved now backed off of their claims of spitting?

Why has no one stepped forward to claim the 10,000 reward offered for video?

Please, share one of your “neutral” news sources so we can laugh at your ignorance.

Hey, isn’t Minnesota the state that voted in Stuart Smalley (aka Al Franken) as one of their senators? “Dog gone it, people like me.” And you lefty nutjobs have the gal to criticize Bachman. I say she is just what Minnesota needs. I will glady contribute to her campaign.

So, the article links you to a Fox site that supposedly “admits” the attacks happened. I read it, and it says the democrats SAID it happened, which is just an allegation. There is no proof. Could it have happened? Sure. Did it? I don’t know. Prove it to me. I have to see it to believe it. I don’t take politicians words for anything but lies. By the way, like a previous poster commented, there is a $10,000 reward being offered for anyone with concrete evidence to support the claim. Good luck with that.
