I’ve gotta hand it to state Rep. John Lesch: while many politicians tend to use Twitter as merely a feed for press releases, the St. Paul Democrat gets more… creative. In addition to Lesch’s mentions of “foul-mouthed” tweeting and bikini-clad mannequins, today’s edition of PoliTweeps looks at jobs, Rep. Ellison’s attempted visit to Gaza, hometown comic Lizz Winstead’s take on the Republican National Committee’s bondage-club fiasco, and more.

—Minnesota AFL-CIO

—Gene Waldorf, independent candidate for Congress, 7th Congressional District

—Rep. John Lesch (DFL-St. Paul), District 66A

—U.S. Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minnesota)

—Lizz Winstead, Daily Show co-creator and Minneapolis resident

—Sean Nienow, Republican candidate for state Senate, District 17, Cambridge

—Terry Pearson, Republican candidate for state House, Inver Grove Heights
