Reps. Michele Bachmann and Steve King, R-Iowa, have been negotiating with the House Ethics Committee and the House Administration Committee to share the services of Sergio Gor, who will handle press for both lawmakers’ offices and campaigns. Both already have communications directors, and at the end of 2009, Bachmann already had three media staffers.

“Right now he’s part-time official and part-time campaign for Bachmann’s office alone. He has not been hired by King’s office yet. Ideally it will work out where his time is divided between both offices,” Bachmann’s communications director Dave Dziok told the Hill.

The Hill also noted that some on the Hill are calling the arrangement unprecedented.

Bluestem Prairie has more on Gor.

Dump Bachmann had a much more comprehensive story on this two days ago. Gor is the fourth Bachmann staffer to currently collect salaries from both the taxpayers and Bachmann’s campaign simultaneously. The situation is much worse than what appears here.

What a self serving lying politician… Michelle Bachmann has all the worst characteristics of the old time political bosses. She grabs money with both hands from farm subsidies and now this all the while pretending to be doing the right thing. She is a hypocrite of the worst order. I wonder if what people say about her affairs are true?
