If Mayor Nagin was about to hold a national event highlighting his accomplishments of the past four years when Gustav made landfall, you can be assured that Nagin's role in Katrina would be included in that story. There were parking lots full of empty buses that could have been used to move people out of the hurricane and flood's path, but they were too stubborn or stupid to put them to use.
