Comedian and Saturday Night Live alum Dan Aykroyd will be hosting a campaign fundraiser for Sen. Al Franken that’ll also feature fellow SNL alums Dana Carvey and Kevin Nealon, the Star Tribune reports.
The fundraiser is taking place in Los Angeles and will cost between $2,400 and $4,800 to attend. It’ll be held at the House of Blues on Sunset Blvd. on Friday evening.

Not only is my Senator popular in Minnesota, he obviously is popular around the country.
I am proud to call Mr. Franken my Senator, and will look forward to him continuing his important mission of representing all of the people in Minnesota.

What, no Dennis Miller? No Victoria Jackson? As a Franken supporter (though not a constituent) I think it would be a hoot to have them there – I would pay real money to see a Dennis Miller – Al Franken debate.
