It should come as no surprise to Minnesotans that the Right has co-opted the Minneapolis Police Department, along with a majority of the City Council. Again, Minnesotans have only themselves to blame as Minnesotans voted for these backwards-looking Luddites. The field of journalism doesn't have a certification process that deems people "professional journalists." Media personnel can request credentials for events that require them, and that would be at the discretion of the event planners. in one place. Were the "reporters" in these stories accredited (I'm assuming that's going to be required). As a freelance journalist, I'm just a tad skeptical about the accuracy of these stories.
