Poll: Emmer holds slight lead

The past 24 hours have been rough on Republican gubernatorial candidate Tom Emmer. But the latest poll from Rasmussen puts Emmer slightly ahead of all potential DFL challengers. Emmer leads both former U.S. Sen. Mark Dayton and Minnesota House Speaker Margaret Anderson Kelliher by two points.

The new poll gives Emmer stronger position than last week’s Minnesota Public Radio poll, which had Dayton ahead of Emmer, 35-31 percent.
