Hard rock ministry says jailing gays is ‘right’ thing to do
Tuesday, June 01, 2010 at 4:01 pm
The leaders of You Can Run But You Cannot Hide Intl., Inc., a hard rock ministry that holds Christian assemblies in public schools around the Midwest, said that locking up gays and lesbians in prison is the “right” and “moral” thing to do. A week earlier, the group said that countries instituting the death penalty for homosexuality are “more moral” than Christians in the United States. The group broadcast live from the Heritage Foundation last weekend, offering another example of the group’s close relationship with the conservative movement.
On the group’s radio show, broadcast live from the Heritage Foundation on May 22, co-leader Jake McMillian praised the actions of the African nation of Malawi which has recently arrested a gay couple for getting engaged.
“They are very conservative,” he said. “They sentence people for crimes against nature.”
Frontman Bradlee Dean added, “They are very moral; they uphold the laws.”
McMillian continued, “We have got countries all over the world that are standing for what’s right and what’s wrong. In Rwanda, there’s legislation right now that repeat offenders of homosexuality will spend their life in prison.”
“Yes!” interjected Dean.
“Because they love and value life and they love and value that which God gave,” said McMillian. “And so they enforce laws against that which destroys life which again is crimes against nature”
The group later brought in Bishop Harry Jackson, an anti-gay marriage activist in Washington, D.C., who praised the group’s work. “I believe a great awakening is about to come forth,” said Jackson. “I believe you are a part of it and those that hear the sound of your voice are revolutionaries.”

Find a new picture of young Bradlee. It makes him look a cross between a girl, a satanist and a member of the Klan.

These fine upstanding Christian lads want our country to emulate nations that hold Christian values.
What country do they specify?
Malawi.
Rwanda.
Mr. Thompson, why is looking like an effeminate, satanic Klansman more objectionable than sounding like a Hutu tribesman?

“The BBC’s Raphael Tenthani in Blantyre says the pair have been seen relaxing at the police station with Mr Tiwonge still wearing the dress he wore at the engagement party.”
Gadzooks!
Just a couple of perfectly normal guys hanging out in dresses…you’d probably never even notice them in a crowd of regular guys having a few beers!

Bradlee sounds like just one more self-hating gay Republican ultra Christian just screaming to be outed.

Doing a little digging on Bradlee Dean, I found that he was a keynote speaker at the annual conference of MATSA, Minnesota Alcohol, Traffic & Safety Association, April 2010, in St. Cloud. Other speakers were a MNDot employee, Hennepin Co sheriff, State patrol officers, a judge & someone from Mn Dept of Safety. I don’t know anything about MATSA but Dean seems an extremely odd choice to speak at this conference. Did MATSA know what Dean is all about & who chose him to speak?
I would really like to know what Dean said in his speech & how he was received by the audience.

Man has the right to love as he will – “Take your fill and will of love as ye will, when, where, and with whom ye will.”
There is no law beyond Do what thou wilt.

Makes perfect sense to this moron… guys want to have sex with guys, punishment… lock them up in a place filled to the brim with guys.
You have to admit that the guy with the long hair has to have some real issues to be such a freaky guy and still try to cozy up to the Right Wing. Just another closeted self hating gay guy…

Many on this forum sound very angry and rude. Reminds me of sitting in a wild bar without a bouncer!
How about voicing opinions with dignity?

I’ve paid some attention to this bunch for a few years, ever since they set up a table to sell their Christian material (no tracts or other freebies), and to solicit donations to their ministry. They get school administrators to pay them to put on an ‘anti-drug’ program, and then split up the boys and girls. They teach them that holding hands is sinful before marriage, among other quaint customs. They sell their religion in the public schools, under the very sheerest of fig leaves. They are most likely a cult, but one that is really, really interested in making money. They love Mammon as they preach back-to-basics Christianity. Apparently, they are Caesar, unto whom money must be rendered.

Look at his picture in the blog post, the Bible says that it’s a shame for a man to wear long hair. Just goes to show you how much they know about what they talk about.
I’m a Christian, I’m happy about it, I preach Christ to people and killing anyone or discriminating against them is not of God. this kind of stuff distracts from God, people can straighten themselves out in their own spiritual walk with God and telling people that others need to be killed is a sure way to turn people away from that walk.

As a lesbian who is about to be married and who went to a Christian school most of my life I am appalled and disgusted by what these so called “christians” even think is right. Love is love. And if your god is such a loving god wouldnt he be able to see that? God is love? All you are is about hate… that is not of god. Therefore you are sinning, if those are your standards. The world will never be at peace as long as there are people like this living in it. At least we (homosexuals) are about love and acceptance and just want the same in return and are putting out positive energy in the world. All you are, are a bunch of hypocrites. You should be ashamed. And if me being gay is sending me to hell when my life is over, atleast I was true to myself and loved with all my heart to someone who loved me back and has made my life heavenly. Karma will come back to you and you will wish you had shown people who wanted acceptance the same respect.
